THE MORNING RANT: As A Woke Globalist, King Charles Cannot Deny That He’s A Racist

Major kudos to Evita Duffy-Alfonso of The Federalist. She wrote an article that I intended to write, and I’d rather share her excellent writing than try to rewrite it in my own words!

(Seriously - in my notebook of ideas for writing topics, I had recently written “King Charles: racist. Promotes anti-carbon wokeness…deserves whole woke package be inflicted on himself.”)

Then I found this outstanding article.

King Charles Can’t Refute Meghan’s ‘Racism’ Charges Because He Is A Self-Flagellating Globalist

The idea that the British people and their monarchy are inherently prejudiced is hard for self-hating Westerners, who have been groomed by critical theory to see themselves with nothing but shame, to refute.

Charles has enthusiastically embraced the globalist agenda, so he’s in no position to carve out an exception for that part of the agenda that calls people like him racist.

Britain’s new king is the poster boy for the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) “Great Reset,” a thinly-veiled effort to replace the autonomy and quality of life that Western industrial advances have helped produce with self-destructive globalism. During a WEF-backed event in 2020, Charles declared that the Covid-19 pandemic “offers an unprecedented opportunity to rethink and reset the ways in which we live and do business.” At the WEF’s annual summit in Davos that same year, the royal, who ironically flew to Switzerland on a private jet, stated, “We need nothing short of a paradigm shift, one that inspires action at revolutionary levels and pace.”

The paradigms that Charles wants shifted are your paradigms. Commoner paradigms. He won’t be giving up his luxurious carbon-intensive lifestyle, or turning the thermostat down in winter, or giving up meat. But he expects his subjects to do so.

The fate of the Crown isn’t my problem, but I might caution a royal who is determined to reduce his subjects’ standard of living to go easy on the use of terms such as “revolutionary action” and “revolutionary reset.”

Charles turned his remarks at the conference into a video titled “#TheGreatReset,” which was posted on the royal family’s official YouTube channel. This “revolutionary reset” beckons world leaders to once and for all implement the forum’s socialist master plan for transitioning economies from relying on coal, oil, and natural gas to insufficient supplies of wind and solar power.

In case you haven’t heard, Britain is already having an awful winter, with energy shortages, impending blackouts, and skyrocketing energy prices. The woke king supports the actions that are causing this misery.

In practice, these anti-energy policies have been disastrous and the victims are Charles’ own people. The WEF’s push to highly regulate agriculture and livestock farming is also making food more expensive and scarce. These policies are annihilating the middle class and spiraling the world into a form of neo-feudalism, and Charles is helping it happen.

Charles chose poorly. He has visibly rejected traditional Christian faith for obedience to The Sustainable Organic Church of the Carbon Apocalypse, and he has rejected British sovereignty for fealty to the communists of the WEF. How can he defend himself against left-wing charges of racism, if he won’t defend his country or protect its people from the globalist left?

The idea that the monarchy, the British empire, and Western civilization at large are institutionally racist is dogma to many Westerners on the political left. This makes refuting Harry and Meghan’s smear campaign very difficult for leftists like King Charles — a man who has already proven himself a spineless coward.

It’s doubly hard for Charles to defend the good name of his nation when he prefers pleasing the global elite over protecting the well-being of his people, who are suffering greatly under a cost-of-living crisis exacerbated by the green agenda.

Is Charles a racist? Almost certainly not. But so what? Since he has allied himself with the eco-communists who want to inflict misery and destitution on his subjects, he doesn’t deserve any defense. If the globalist left agrees with Ms. Markle that Charles is a racist, who am I to dispute it? That is his tribe.

“O Little Town Of Bethlehem” is one of the few classical Christmas songs that came from the United States. It was written by an Episcopal priest in Philadelphia in 1868, with his organist providing the tune.
