A befuddled President Biden casually maligned the Irish while botching his wife's family history during a gaffe-filled appearance in Delaware on Friday.

"I may be Irish, but I'm not stupid," Biden inexplicably said as he greeted 102-year-old World War II veteran Ray Firmani during a town hall on veterans' benefits in New Castle, Del.

"I married Dominic Giacoppa's daughter," Biden continued. "So, you know, I got a little Italian in me now, you know?"

The audience of military veterans and federal officials received the off-script comments in puzzled silence -- but critics on Twitter took comic umbrage at the ethnic slur.

"Hate crime," self-described Irish Catholic reporter Mary Margaret Olohan posted, with a video clip of the offending moment.

Biden routinely attacks the Irish so that he'll have a little wiggle-room to make broadly racist claims about Indians, blacks, Puerto Ricans, Jews, and whatever other race his on-again-off-again hippocampus resurfaces a really funny joke from 1953 about.

Santa's Fury: Frigid air from the north pole will send the much of the country into a deep freeze before Christmas.

The coldest air of the season -- by far -- will dive down from Canada, bringing dangerously cold temperatures to millions this week. Temperatures will drop so low in some places that frostbite could begin in as little as five minutes on exposed skin.

Temperatures are already cold to start the week across much of the northern tier of the country.

"Highs over central and eastern Montana will struggle to get above zero today, while daytime lows ranging from 0 to -15 degrees will be common from eastern Washington to the Upper Mississippi Valley," the Weather Prediction Center wrote.

But this is only the beginning of a brutal week that will get much, much colder -- as temperatures dive 30 to 50 degrees below normal.

This is due to Global Warming (TM).

"Daytime lows on Tuesday dip as low as -20 to -30 in parts of Montana, with sub-zero lows bleeding more into the central High Plains," the prediction center said. "Blustery winds throughout the region are responsible for bone-chilling wind chills, ranging as cold as -30 to even -60 degrees."

This week, more than 80% of the Lower 48 will experience temperatures below freezing. Places as far south as Houston; Austin, Texas; Atlanta and even Orlando are currently included on that list. And some in the Midwest could also experience their coldest Christmas Day in nearly 40 years.

A winter storm will form on Tuesday, resulting in heavy snow and even blizzards.

As a commenter said on Friday: Time to do some food shopping now.

The New York Times' SJW Racist Clown Roxane Gay demands that Britain "dismantle" their monarchy because it was racist to poor Meghan Markle.

The New York Times has been criticized over an opinion piece which accused the British Royal Family of racism and suggested Meghan Markle had to pay with 'her life' to marry into the institution.

Under the headline 'When Harry Met Meghan', contributing opinion writer Roxane Gay said Harry and Meghan were 'saving their lives' by leaving royal life and 'preserving what peace of mind they could salvage from the wreckage of the almost three years they spent trying to solicit support from the royal family'.

Gay suggests the privilege of the Sussexes 'could not shield them from racism which, ultimately, forced the wedge between them and the royal family'.

She adds: 'When Prince Harry met and married the American actress Meghan Markle, we saw, in real time, just how high a price the crown was willing to extract from an outsider, up to and including her life.'

Gay is a writer and social commentator who has contributed to the New York Times for several years.

In the piece, Gay also writes that 'even in royal exile, Meghan plays the part of a perfect princess'.

'In the end, racism was more powerful than familial bonds. The monarchy's consistent unwillingness to protect Meghan Markle in the face of truly horrific tabloid coverage and online harassment was indefensible.'

Gay concludes: 'And yet I also have this on my mind: Harry and Meghan seemed content to be part of the royal family if only the royal family had been willing to embrace change.

'But the monarchy doesn't need to be changed. It needs to be dismantled. If Harry and Meghan were to have acknowledged that, it would have made their story infinitely more interesting.'

This is Roxane Gay. I do not imagine that she is a happy, well-adjusted person who is content with her sex life. She looks like someone that might have gotten friend-zoned by Jabba the Hutt.

Following an 18-month investigation, @NBCNews has learned that the House Jan. 6 committee plans to recommend criminal prosecution of former President Trump on several counts related to the attack on the Capitol.

Trump had a party at Mar-a-Lago to honor the Log Cabin Republicans and gay rights. It turned into a celebration of the gay marriage law Biden signed even though the party, which has been scheduled months ago, had not been organized with that purpose in mind.

Hundreds of guests in tuxedos of all styles -- sequined, quilted, velvet -- and colorful gowns sipped on Trump-branded champagne and martinis. Between courses of steak and bite-sized Key lime pie, they danced to "YMCA" and "Macho Man," the disco anthems at Trump rallies.

Thursday night's Log Cabin Republicans' "Spirit of Lincoln" gala in the main ballroom of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago beachfront club was a joyous celebration of gay rights and -- in a case of ironic timing -- the historic same-sex marriage law signed by President Joe Biden days earlier.

The long-planned event in honor of the conservative LGBTQ organization's 45th anniversary brought in Republican notables like former Ambassador Ric Grenell, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), former State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus, who emceed the evening in a feathered turquoise gown, and former GOP gubernatorial candidate from Arizona Kari Lake, who was swarmed by guests eager to meet her and take a photo.

But the main attraction, obviously, was Trump. He received a standing ovation after delivering an enthusiastic affirmation of gay rights not often heard in the GOP.

"We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard," the former president and 2024 candidate said. "With the help of many of the people here tonight in recent years, our movement has taken incredible strides, the strides you've made here is incredible."

Throughout the evening, speakers praised Trump for his embrace of the gay community. They credited him for his initiatives to combat the criminalization of homosexuality, his work pushing for public heath initiatives to combat the HIV epidemic, and for appointing the first openly gay Cabinet member, Grenell, as director of national intelligence.

Trump and his administration had a mixed record on LGBTQ issues. He's been criticized for driving a wedge between gay and transgender communities, and for promoting extreme religious liberty policies and executive orders they say allowed for discrimination against LGBTQ people that pushed the movement backwards. The Log Cabin Republicans' first female executive director, Jerri Ann Henry, resigned in 2019 over the group's decision to endorse Trump.

I think Trump's pro-gay attitude was more of an asset in 2016 than it seems now. It's just that the constellation of issues has changed.

For example: The Mayo Clinic is now performing an experiment on a woman who just gave birth who is currently breastfeeding her child. The woman has decided to gender-transition right now, and the Mayo Clinic is giving her testosterone shots even while she is breastfeeding her child, because a transgender's whims comes before anything else, including the health of an infant she just delivered.

According to the paper nothing bad happened [to the infant dosed on testosterone by proxy], but it's pretty hard to know from a simple observational study done over a few months. There are so many variables and an entire lifetime of potential consequences that this few months of observation would never capture. You may notice that if you read carefully the "study period" is over.

It is mind-blowing to me that any doctor, no less 6 at a world-class medical center could consider doing this sort of experiment. And for what, exactly? During COVID cancer patients were forced to wait for life saving operations and chemotherapy, but a "gender dysphoric" mother breastfeeding her child couldn't either wait a few months or switch to formula to get her testosterone shots?

Of course she could, but the opportunity to experiment on an infant would be lost forever.

She may be mentally ill, but what excuses do the doctors have?

I will be looking into how to file ethics charges against these doctors. If this sort of thing doesn't violate ethical standards then I can't imagine what would.

Anybody have any suggestions for how to proceed? I am serious. This is really screwed up.

Kristi Noem can't afford any more Oopsies with the transgender issue, so she fires -- um, announces the sudden retirement of -- her Health Secretary after learning, she says, about an event the Secretary had scheduled with a pro-transgenderism organization.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem announced the retirement of her state health secretary, Joan Adam, days after the governor discovered that the state Health Department had contracted with a transgender activist group that will host a "gender summit" next month.

Noem announced Adam's retirement Monday morning, four days after the Republican governor condemned the transgender health summit.

"Gov. Kristi Noem is reviewing all Department of Health contracts and immediately terminated a contract with The Transformation Project," Ian Fury, Noem's chief of communications, told The Daily Signal on Friday. "The contract was signed without Gov. Noem's prior knowledge or approval."

Noem did not mention the transgender issue in the press release about Adam's retirement.

"Joan has lived a life of service to the Pierre community and to the people of South Dakota," Noem said in the statement prepared for the release. "She has been able to put families first because she recognizes the importance of her own family. I am grateful for her advice and wish her the best on everything that she does."

Fury, Noem's spokesman, said that The Transformation Project had not complied with its state contract. The organization failed "to submit required quarterly reports for two consecutive quarters," among other violations, he said.

Noem terminated the contract after The Daily Signal reached out with questions about a "Gender Identity Summit" that the state's largest employer, Sanford Health, will host next month with The Transformation Project. The project celebrates controversial medical interventions for minors and hosts events in which people ritually "burn" their "old name or pronouns."

UFOs in Wisconsin, north of Milwaukee.

Strange lights shooting across rural Wisconsin skies this month were filmed by witnesses in multiple stunning videos obtained by DailyMail.com -- with one having a spooky up-close encounter.

The footage from December 1 shows bright white lights zipping across cloudy skies over the rolling farmland near West Bend and Fredonia, Wisconsin.

Moving at incredible speeds and appearing to come from above the thin cloud layer that night, the phenomena left witnesses believing they had seen a true UFO display.

Unlike most incidents from a single blurry, shaky camera, this case has at least two witnesses who did not know each other and filmed the lights at the same time from different locations, according to their video metadata.

They say the UFOs waited until all the rural counties posted their vote totals before suddenly appearing.
