Confirmed: Feminist She-Hulk Is Another Get Woke, Go Broke Ratings Disaster

CosmicBookNews reports it's the first Marvel show to fail to make the Nielsen top ten.

Much like Ms. Marvel, the She-Hulk ratings are also in the gutter where it's actually worse as She-Hulk is the first Marvel show on Disney Plus not to make any of Nielsen's Top 10 lists.

The first episode of Ms. Marvel made Nielsen's Top 10 "Orignal" list but the ratings quickly dropped as Ms. Marvel's episode 2 failed to make the Nielsen Top 10 "Original" list, the first time ever for a Marvel show, and now She-Hulk shares the same company.

As Ethan Van Sciver used to say: "Orignal? Oh, original. Garbage-tier media."

Rings of Power, meanwhile, has She-Hulk level ratings. And that's not a win for a billion dollar budget show.

By the way, I'm not just saying "billion dollar budget" as an exaggeration. Amazon has committed to spending at least a billion dollars on the show over five seasons. Just the rights to the material -- which is just some of the appendices in the back of Return of the King -- cost $250 million.

Rings of Power is compared to Marvel's She-Hulk series on Disney Plus and not in a good way.

According to Samba TV, as many households watched the new Lord of the Rings series on Amazon Prime Video as did watch She-Hulk on Disney Plus.

Samba TV, which claims to have 46 million addressable TV devices to measure data, reports that 1.8 million households watched the Rings of Power premiere in the first four days of release, which is the same as the She-Hulk premiere.

Samba doesn't track nearly all households -- only 46 million -- but, as most of these companies refuse to report their ratings, it's the best guide we have for many of them. Consider it a broad sampling of all households, which we can use as a proxy for all households. Hey, actual Nielson ratings only sample a few thousand households, too.

We know from Samba that Rings of Power is on the same level as She-Hulk, which we now know, courtesy of Nielson, failed to break into the top ten during its premiere weeks.

Meanwhile: David French is practically vibrating at all this Peak TV!!!

He likes it because they're pushing a Current Year moral about racism.

Specifically, anti-Elf racism.

I get a real Creepy Youth Pastor vibe from David French. A vibe that says, "I'm super-into all these childish things just to have an excuse to chat up the kinder."
