There have been several Hobby Thread submissions lately. And we would like to share them with you.
Hello MH. Someone suggested , after you posted my oil painting , that I do one for the TXMOME. I haven't painted for over ten years but your hobby thread got me to start again. I thought what better subject than a Moron still life. If up to par I'll donate to the MoMe to give away. Won't hurt my feelings if it's a thanks but no thanks. There are a number of moron memes here that I hope people will recognize. Thanks again . ----polynikes formerly anti doesn't matter formally a lot of other nics.
Thank you for this submission. What a great painting. And I'm happy that The Hobby Thread inspired you to pick up the brushes. I bet that this painting would be a hit at the TXMoMe. You should hit up Ben Had to hammer out the details.

Good morning, Mis Hum!
I wouldn't call what I have something I planned to collect - it just became a collection of old school gaming systems. I call it "The Great Wall of Gaming", pic attached. And yes, the stuffed Mario next to the top center TV is holding a Jolly Roger flag that I got for him at the NOVA MoMe.
If you'd like to use it & want some more background, let me know how many words you'd like and I'll gladly fill in the blanks.
Cheers!
Jeff, aka "Brother Bob"
Now that's what I call an unusual collection. I hope you are available today to tell us a little bit about it. Quite the Jolly Roger Flag! Thank you for sharing with us today.

I received the following from Open Blogger "Perfessor" Squirrel
Hello,
Don't know if you've featured this before on the Hobby Thread, but here's a cool video of someone putting together an ultra-realistic wargaming table featuring The Shire:
Pretty cool little project. At the end of the video, you can see into one of the little houses while it's lit up and really view some incredible detail.
Enjoy!
Talk about attention to detail!
