Washington DC Declares a "PUBLIC EMERGENCY" Over A Few Hundred Illegal Aliens;

Oh wow, we have a few hundred illegal aliens -- 1% of the number that flood border towns every week -- and it's a "PUBLIC EMERGENCY."

DC is also demanding Federal Emergency Management Agency money, too.

Just a handful of Hispanics, and they call in FEMA.

Now that's what I call "antiracism."

D.C. is declaring a public emergency and creating a new office to provide services for migrants being bused into the District from border states such as Texas, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Thursday.

The public emergency will direct the Director of the Department of Human Services to provide temporary services and supports to migrants arriving from southern border states.

It also authorizes the City Administrator and agency directors to establish new programs and expand or modify existing programs in response to the emergency.

The new office will be called the Office of Migrant Services and $10 million has been allocated for it with the District seeking reimbursement from FEMA.

The District is putting in place a framework to meet all buses and facilitate onward travel for those who plan to move on from D.C.

In other words: We're going to try to immediately put the Undocumented Arrivals onto fresh buses, and send them to the next town.

I'm sure it will be a red town in a red county.

This AWFL DC council member calls the mere presence of a few hundred Hispanics a "crisis" and says that Governors Abbot and Ducey have turned DC into a "border town."

Why shouldn't it be a border town? It's your policies that cause this problem. Why shouldn't you have to deal with a fraction of the problems you create?

Note she also vows that she'll "get them [the illegals] where they want to go," in other words: "Here's a fresh autobus for you, muchachos. Vaya con Dios and Hasta la never."

Weird that it's a problem when red state governors put illegals on buses, but DC is announcing they're going to do the exact same thing, but that's... "antiracist" I guess.
