Christian Nationalism Is Biblical And America-First, But It’s Not White

If you want to know what the establishment’s all-seeing eye is maniacally fixated on, the amount of energy the corporate media orcs spend bludgeoning “Christian nationalists” provides a clue. Over the past 48 months, there have been dozens of hit jobs on the terror of “Christian nationalism”; there have been about a score of these smear pieces just this past month alone.

Their Pavlovian function is to condition Americans to associate the term with a bunch of extremists and racists who pose a Hitleresque threat to this country’s democratic institutions so that they will dutifully freak out. These articles rely on the same tactics: straw man arguments that misrepresent both Christianity and nationalism, and phony attempts to depict the movement as white.

The article does a good job of explaining how Christianity is right in line with Americian values, but I think not enough attention is given to the term nationalism. We've ceded the ground to the left on this one, and that's a very bad thing. “Nationalism” is widely seen as evil, but nobody ever counters that it depends on what kind of nationalism. Hitler's Germany? Stalin's USSR? Of course nationalism in support of those ideologies is bed, because those states were evil. But nationalism in support of this country, and by that I mean the principles it was founded on, that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that government should be limited and constrained to only enumerated powers? That's a great good thing, and I am proud to be considered a nationalist in support.

Speaking of great good things, Here's a video clip of the author of The Great Good Thing, Andrew Klavan, talking about his conversion to Christianity. I found it interesting.

That'll Be $6.66 Please

Is Amazon One the Mark of the Beast? No, but That Doesn’t Mean It’s a Good Thing.

Does anyone remember Amazon’s Astro, your own personal robotic assistant? Sounds like just the thing we’ve been hoping for, right? Gizmodo reports that In Sentry mode, Astro patrols your home, looking for faces/things that it does not recognize and ostensibly reports back to you. It can also be paired with Ring. And by now you know that Amazon was sharing Ring information with law enforcement without notifying the owners. Ars Technica has the full story here.

Ideally, the internet of things is supposed to make our lives more convenient. But what it does is facilitate the surrender of our personal information and activities to the corporations, who sell it for a profit and, as Ring shows, provides it to the government when necessary. The problem with that is who decides when it is necessary and what are the parameters for doing so.
No one would argue that if Ring, Astro, or even Amazon One could nab a drug dealer, identity thief, or child predator, that would not be a positive. But what if you are engaged in an activity or a purchase that while not illegal or immoral, is one that the powers that be don’t like? Let’s say you are following the example of the parents in the Loudoun School District in Virginia and are viewed as a potential terrorist. How will your information be used then?

It's alarming how far down the rabbit hole we already are, and how few people seem to see it. We had a taste earlier this year in Canada when the government froze the bank accounts of people participating in the trucker's protest. We just hand away our individual sovereignty for convenience and never think twice (and I'm as guilty as anyone of this). Unreal.

Speaking Of Canada...

Canada installing weapons armouries, interrogation rooms for Ministry of Climate Change Nonsense

The Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Nonsense Canada (ECCC) is building a new facility in Winnipeg that will be home to a firearms armoury, interrogation rooms, biological labs, media relations offices, “controlled quiet rooms,” and intelligence facilities.

The plans, which were drawn up by a firm in Winnipeg, open a window into Trudeau’s future plans for Climate Enforcement.

Down the hall from the proposed “Firearms Storage” rooms are several evidence rooms, interrogation suites, and adjacent recording rooms.

The Impact Assessment Act (IAA), which was quietly passed in the final days of Trudeau’s majority government, grants sweeping power to Ministerial “Enforcement Officers.” But, until now, little has been explained about where and how Climate Police will be deployed.
The IAA empowers agents of the Ministry of Climate Change Nonsense to enter premises without a warrant to “verify compliance or prevent non-compliance with [the Act].
Trudeau’s Climate Police may enter any project location that affects the environment to take photographs, access computer systems and communication devices, and “direct any person to put any machinery, vehicle or equipment in the place into operation or to cease operating it.” Climate Police may also prohibit access to the location entirely.

Coming soon to an America near you. Think not? Guess you missed the story that Ace posted earlier this week about how the Democrats stuck authorization for the EPA to regulate carbon dioxide into their inflation increasement act.

Scientists Achieved Self-Sustaining Nuclear Fusion… But Now They Can't Replicate It

Seems to me I've heard this before, but it'll be a great day if they can finally pull it off.

Scientists Gave Young Mice The Blood of Old Mice. Then Things Got Weird

In a new experiment, young mice briefly experienced signs of old age when scientists infused them with the blood of older mice. A similar aging effect occurred when human cells were immersed in the plasma of older individuals.

The reverse effect was also observed. Second look at vampires?
