Stelter Doubles Down On His Claim That "Journalism" Doesn't Require Fairness, and That It's "Dangerous" to Criticize the Leftwing Media (But Only the Leftwing Media)
The Potato stands much as he did at the seventh grade dance when he pooped his pants: Alone and upwind from the crowd.
Joe Concha pointed out that Tater has been making these claims for years, but especially over the last few months, as he's been arguing over CNN's airwaves that CNN's new owners at Warner Discovery, and its new major activist investor John Malone, are wrong that CNN is a leftwing "news" organization.
And he's also been making the alternative argument that the truth is itself biased, and to demand "journalist" to be non-partisan is effectively asking them to lie.
So without naming them, he's essentially been calling them Republican shills, liars, and hacks who just want to force The Truth-Telling Tater to lie to fit in with the new regime.
But The Steltz is here to tell these Rethuglikkkans: This Pugnacious Potato Don't Roll Over Like That For Nobody!
He continued that no-charm offensive against his bosses -- well, ex-bosses -- in his last show.

We're barely five minutes into the final Reliable Sources and the arrogance and hatred for conservatives that "the truth is not neutral" with Stelter and Carl Bernstein is flowing.
They've already shown why it's being canceled.
This Sunday, I did what I usually do, and remained completely oblivious to the existence of Brian Stelter. So I didn't post a thread about his last show.
But some other people watched it, and posted clips.
He continued claiming, as he often did, that any criticism of the media constituted a kind of violence and terrorism against the media.
I mean criticism of the leftwing media, of course-- his show and most of his network attacked Fox and the few conservative journalist that exist constantly.
It's only leftwing "journalists" who must be protected against the "dangers" of criticism.

Second segment for Brian Stelter's final show -- the risk to the lives of journalists and how dangerous it is to be one in America because of the far-right.
Ah, yes. Being a journalist in America is JUST like reporting in China, Myanmar, North Korea, and Russia!

CNN's Brian Stelter decries outside criticism of journalism as a "poisonous cloud" that's spread throughout the country and around the world.
He adds he's "proud" to have worked at a network when they knew they had to fight and attack Trump.
He claims "we need the full spectrum of debate," but he and his Metrosexual Ethnic Renfield Oliver Darcy's main value-add for CNN was campaigning for the deplatforming of conservatives every week or two. That was their "hook" -- which conservative will we campaign to get banned from social media this week? Which Fox show will we campaign to get de-listed from advertisers? And will be successful?
Is that the "full spectrum of debate" he means -- debating about who we're going to deplatform or censor?
He had on this decrepit propagandist on to argue "We don't have to be fair."
Flashback: "You are full of sanctimony... You are one of the reasons people hate the media."
Another flashback: The Weather Channel's founder tells Stelter to shut up.
Meanwhile: God never closes a door without opening a window.
Maybe Hot Air could use a man like Brian.
Couldn't be worse than the last guy.

We want to hear from you!
Hot Air wants to add a full-time contributor to our ranks to prepare for the 2022 midterms as well as the 2024 presidential election cycle. You'd get a chance to work with a great team and have your work widely read, with the ability to have a real impact on politics. We're looking for someone who can provide volume writing, with accurate and sharp analysis from an independent and conservative point of view.
A good candidate would have demonstrated success in this field, with a track record of publication that matches well with our approach. An established social-media following is always a plus. An ability to write respectfully for a wide-ranging audience with diverse perspectives is a must. We need passion and enthusiasm for this political moment and a driving desire to help shape the future of the country.
Obviously any of the cobloggers here would make a great lead blogger for Hot Air, if they weren't deemed too "toxic" by virtue of being Actually Conservative.
Bonus: The next one to go?
