Alexandria Donkey-Chompers to Democrats: Stop Complaining, Stop Worrying About Losing Hispanic Voters, and Just Start Using "Latinx" to Honor the "Identities" of Trans People

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended using the word "Latinx" to describe Hispanic men and women over the weekend and slammed her Democratic colleagues who she said "rail against" it -- despite polling data indicating most Hispanics don't use the term or virulently object to it.

"In the spirit of pride, I wanted to have a note on gender inclusivity in the Spanish language," Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said in a video posted to her Instagram Story. "People sometimes like to make a lot of drama over the term 'Latinx.' But even before 'Latinx,' people were trying to do this, like, use an at [@ symbol] to have the 'A' and the 'O' [in 'Latino' and 'Latina'] together."

"Gender is fluid, language is fluid," Ocasio-Cortez went on. "[You] don't have to make drama over it."

At that point, the "Squad" member took aim at her fellow Democrats in what she called a "mini-rant."

"There are some politicians -- including Democratic politicians -- that rail against the term 'Latinx.' And they're like, 'This is so bad. This is so bad for the party like, blah, blah blah.' And like, it's almost as though it has not struck some of these folks that another person's identity is not about your re-election prospects," she said. "Like, this is not about you."

The congresswoman, whose father is from the Bronx and mother is from Puerto Rico, told her supporters that if her colleagues are so worried about using the term, they need to rethink their priorities.

"You need to talk about health care more, you need to raise people's wages, you need to talk more about issues that also matter to people," she said.

But first, you must mutilate the language to talk about Trans Identity Issues. And you can talk about this other crap to make up for annoying people with the "Latinx" bullshit.

She was specifically attacking another Democrat, who had objected to the New York Yankees organization using the term "Latinx" in a corporate tweet about gun violence and how it affects Latinxexes.

"Try asking your Hispanic players if they like being called 'Latinx,'" user Nicholas S. Brisco responded.

"We are Latinos, you gringo," another user said.

"Latinx is by far the most insulting thing I've ever been called even worse than any slur combined and [I know] I'm not alone in this," a third chimed in. "Literally proves that Latino voices can't be heard and a----s just talk over us."

Democratic Rep. Ritchie Torres, whose 15th Congressional District includes Yankee Stadium, waded into the pile-on Friday.

"I represent the South Bronx, home to the Yankees. Never heard anyone locally use the term 'Latinx.' Does a majority of Hispanics actually use the term 'Latinx'?" Torres posted in a Twitter thread on Friday. "If the answer is 'no', how did 'Latinx' come to be the term to use in government and Corporate America?"

Last week I mentioned that the chair of the DCCC fundraising arm, Sean Patrick Maloney, had decided to run in the newly-created 17th district, which upset a black Democrat who wanted to run their, some guy named Mondaire Jones. This caused some anger among Democrats, first, because they thought that, him being in leadership, maybe he should have been the one to move, and second, because, well, because he's white and Mondaire Jones is black, so Mondaire should have the privilege.

I guess Mondaire is making plans to move his residence to compete in a different district.

In the meanwhile, another Democrat has announced a primary fight against Sean Patrick Maloney.

And Donkey-Chompers has endorsed that challenger.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday endorsed progressive New York state Sen. Alessandra Biaggi (D) in her primary bid to unseat Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.) in a controversial House district created by New York's redistricting maps.

Ocasio-Cortez and Biaggi both upset powerful moderate incumbents in their 2018 races, with Biaggi unseating a Democratic state senator who had formed a coalition with Republicans to give them the majority in the chamber.

"We want a champion in Congress that will fight for all of us -- not a corporate Democrat like Sean Patrick Maloney who puts his donors' interests ahead of ours," Biaggi said in a statement. "Representative Ocasio-Cortez and I know our party will be strongest when Democrats stop letting corporate donors set the political agenda and start fighting for working people -- and that's why I am thrilled she is backing our campaign."

Donkey-Chompers is a pestilence. I'm becoming a real fan.
