The Florida Supreme Court has declined to hear a challenge on DeSantis' congressional map.

Note that it was a lone Obama federal judge -- a Hawaiian judge -- who's been making up contrived objections to the map. Not state court judges.

The court's announcement means that the map, which heavily favors Republicans, will likely remain in place for the 2022 midterm elections.

It also means that Florida's 1st District Court of Appeal will have the final say on the map. That court previously threw out a circuit court decision to redraw the map.

Just to let you know, during Trump's presidency, it was often Hawaiian district court judges (the lowest level of federal judge) who would ride in at the last minute and issue a national injunction against enforcement against Trump's executive orders or even the laws that Congress passed and he signed.

Because of this, I refer to any Outlaw Leftwing Judge who just makes up the law as he goes a "Hawaiian judge." This judge isn't really Hawaiian.

DeSantis will veto a $35 grant to the Tampa Bay Rays in light of the political stance they've taken against the second amendment.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis plans to veto a $35 million legislation for a Pasco County facility that’s earmarked for the Tampa Bay Rays' spring training, OutKick has learned.

DeSantis's decision is in response to the Rays politicizing recent shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde ahead of a matchup with the Yankees in May.

People who deny the existence of structural racism, a combination of institutional and societal factors that reinforce racial inequity, likely also exhibit anti-Black prejudices, a new study has found.

Why do I have the feeling that they're going to substitute some synonym for "Not Woke Enough" as their proof of "exhibiting anti-Black prejudice"?

Researchers analyzed 83 previous studies on racism that included more than 25,000 participants for the new study, published Monday in the American Psychological Association's Journal of Counseling Psychology.

The researchers sought to examine the associations of two different types of colorblind racial ideology, color evasion and power evasion, with anti-Black prejudices.

The color evasion ideology is defined by the idea that race and ethnicity are not important when discussing the issues of a group to reduce interracial tension and prejudice. Power evasion is the ideology by which people deny the existence of structural racism.

The researchers, led by University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign doctoral student Jacqueline Yi, found that the average correlation between power evasion and prejudice against Black people was significant while the correlation between color evasion and anti-Black prejudice was not.

"People who denied structural racism were also more likely to endorse stronger beliefs that societal inequality is acceptable and reported fewer intentions to engage in social justice behaviors," the researchers said in a press release.

So, in other words, people who denied structural racism was a thing were more likely to say "some amount of inequality is unavoidable" and also said things like "we're not going to strip freedom from people, nor impose Marxism, to correct every microinequality," and that's what you're taking as "anti-Black prejudice.
