Is nothing sacred? Sadly "No"

TRENTON, N.J. - A statue of St. Michael that stood nearly 15 feet tall has now been downgraded to just a pair of feet.

The "Angel of Faith" statue was stolen last week and the person who stole it, left behind nothing but the statue’s feet on top of a bronze ball.

How many sexes are there? Seriously? How fvcking many sexes are there Senator Dimwit?

Republican Wyoming Sen. Cynthia Lummis issued an apology Monday for stating the biological fact that there are only “two sexes” during a commencement speech at the University of Wyoming, according to a report.

Speaking at the commencement address Saturday, Lummis said constitutional rights were being threatened and “even fundamental scientific truths such as the existence of two sexes, male and female, are subject to challenge these days.”

Lummis’ remarks were immediately met with a barrage of “boos” from the crowd.

“You know, I -” Lummis began to say. “I challenge those of you. I’m not making a comment on the fact that there are people who transition between sexes.”

Well Burn, Loot and Murder (BLM) sure is a profitable enterprise. For being a non-profit. Grift and graft is big biz.

New tax filings from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reveal that the official Black Lives Matter organization ended the last fiscal year with at least $42 million in assets.

According to the Associated Press, the 63-page Form 990 shows that Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. peaked with over $90 million in donations in 2020, amid race riots that destroyed cities all across the country, which were largely orchestrated and led by BLM. Of that $90 million, the organization invested at least $32 million in stocks.

At the conclusion of the last fiscal year, from July of 2020 to June of 2021, the organization reported $42 million in assets, with an operating budget of just $4 million. Of those earnings, $6 million was spent on a luxurious mansion in Los Angeles, California, which included six bedrooms and bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a soundstage.

Earlier today in the The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition—CBD he wrote: "Misplaced power." If ever there was a phrase that describes the current state of affairs in the United States, it's that! Talk about 'Misplaced Power'.

President Joe Biden’s administration is pushing amendments to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) governing regulations to give Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus unilateral authority to declare a public health emergency in any nation based on whatever evidence he chooses.

The proposed U.S. amendments were forwarded to the WHO in January for consideration next week by the UN’s 75th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.

In a January 26 letter to a virtual meeting of WHO’s executive board, Loyce Pace, Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) described “the importance of equity and equitable access to medical countermeasures and the negative impacts of misinformation and disinformation related to the pandemic. We agree that we must all do better.

The Elon Musk buy out of Twitter, please pass the popcorn.

Elon Musk said overnight that his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter can’t move ahead unless the company backs up statements about the number of fake accounts on the platform, which the company has put at under 5%.

It’s something he’s been picking at for days but made explicit in a tweet early Tuesday as some estimates put the number of spam accounts at 20%.

“20% fake/spam accounts, while 4 times what Twitter claims, could be *much* higher. My offer was based on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate. Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%. This deal cannot move forward until he does,” Musk tweeted.

Oops! That didn't work out too well. But, I'm sure his heart was in the right place.

Miami’s mayor backed MiamiCoin crypto—then its price dropped 95%

On Feb. 2, the city of Miami cashed out its cryptocurrency MiamiCoin for the first time, depositing $5.25 million into city coffers. Miami mayor Francis Suarez hailed it as a “historic moment” and predicted the cryptocurrency could one day even replace municipal taxes as the government’s primary source of funding.

MiamiCoin’s creator, an organization called CityCoins, has been no less enthusiastic, portraying the coin as a financial experiment that will empower citizens with a “community-driven revenue stream” while spurring new digital city services.

This doesn't pass the Bull Shit smell test.

A retired British geologist is facing the death penalty for smuggling historic items out of Iraq, but has said he didn't realise he was breaking the law.

Jim Fitton, 66, is accused of taking 12 stones and shards of broken pottery he had found at an archaeological site in Eridu.

Travelling as part of an organised geology and archaeology tour the items were discovered on Fitton and German national Volker Waldmann were as they prepared to fly out of Iraq in March, The Independent reports.

Appearing in a Baghdad courtroom alongside Waldmann, Fitton told a panel of judges that he hadn't acted with criminal intent.

He admitted that he had "suspected" the items were ancient fragments, but stated that he "at the time didn’t know about Iraqi laws", or that taking the shards was not permitted

Ya right Einstein.
