I don't like Willie Nelson much. His voice has a soft yet whiny quality that I find unpleasant, and his quiet flourishes are grating.
Besides, he ruined one of the great country songs of all time with his catastrophically awful version of "The Streets Of Laredo."
That's unforgivable.
Below the fold are two excellent versions. One is my favorite, and I think the best one ever! The other is pretty good too.

I don't know much about country music, and I don't listen to anything but the classic stuff, since modern country music sounds far too poppy to my old ears. I guess that is the FWP for the week.
