The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

"It almost seems like the entire ring of people who were doing this that their conscience is getting the better of them now that they are being held accountable for their actions. Of course, the alternative conspiracy theory is that it's like someone is trying to clean up shop." Spencer Kuvin, a lawyer for several Epstein victims

Quote II

"Sadly, the virus itself, particularly the variant called Omicron, is a type of vaccine. That is it creates both B cell and T cell immunity. And it has done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines." Bill Gates

Sadly?

Quote III

“Suck on this: Ninety-five percent of the billits in Virginia were occupied of election officials and poll watchers, and that is a principal reason that we secured the election of Youngkin, OK?” Steve Bannon

Quote IV

“There need to be barriers, there need to be guard rails. If someone wants to say the Holocaust was a hoax, which is against history … to give a person space to amplify that speech is not tolerance. It’s abusive.” Actor Bryan Cranston

Quote V

She’s a rich, entitled white lady. She’s the pampered, obnoxious ski bunny in the matching snow suit who tells you to pull up your mask while you’re standing in the lift line at Jackson Hole. They’re all the same. It doesn’t matter what shade they are.” Tucker Carlson

Surprise!!! No, not really. Hollywood to practice hypocrisy at this year's Oscars.

“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others,” George Orwell wrote in “Animal Farm”. That quote comes to mind often when we talk about COVID-19 mandates and enforcement by various authorities. In a liberal haven like Hollywood, you’d think that a blatant show of COVID-19 mandate hypocrisy would be avoided in order to avoid the publicity yet you would be mistaken. There is a distinction made between performers and presenters at this year’s Oscars ceremony versus award nominees and guests attending the ceremony.

The logic escapes me here. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided that the coronavirus safety measures will include requiring all nominees and guests to show proof of vaccination and at least two negative P.C.R. tests. The audience is expected to be 2,500 in total attendance, including the nominees. However, performers and presenters will be required to be tested but no need to show proof of vaccination will be necessary. The audience in the room has to prove vaccination but the performers and presenters don’t have a requirement of being vaccinated. Does the virus magically know where the stage stops and the audience seating areas begin?

Where do you keep your vaping device young lady?

Six teenage girls say they were forced to strip so school administrators could check them for vaping devices. Families of the teenagers—students at Suring High School in Wisconsin—have now retained a civil rights lawyer, after the local district attorney declined to bring criminal charges against Suring High officials.

In Wisconsin, it's illegal for any official, employee, or agent of a school district to conduct a strip search of a student. School policy also specifies that this should not be done.

But District Attorney Edward D. Burke, Jr. said Tuesday he would not press charges against Superintendent Kelly Casper and the school nurse (both women) who made the girls disrobe, because Wisconsin law defines a strip search as requiring the exposure of genitals, pubic areas, breasts, or butts.

WTF?????

No word if the Chinese Sous Vide this dish shit.

China is famous for many weird traditional foods, but the snake and whole scorpion served in Guangdong province is definitely among the most bizarre and downright scary dishes in the Asian country.

Arachnids and insects have been a part of Chinese cuisine long before the West even considered their nutritious value, but even here scorpion soup is not really considered mainstream. In northern China, deep-fried scorpions skewered like grilled meat are very popular as street stall food, but in the south, the arachnids are preferred as the main ingredient of a soup that also contains chunks of snake and pork meats, as well as a mix of spices. Despite the toxic poison of the scorpion, the dish is actually considered a detox dish.

Yikes. This is a big hit to the Family Dollar chain. Rats, a shit-ton of them.

Apparently, Family Dollar doesn’t get a rat’s patootie when it comes to keeping its warehouse rodent-free. And now, it’s paying a price, which is believed to have cost significantly more than a dollar.

Actually, don’t blame Family Dollar. Blame the rats who infested the warehouse.

The rodents forced the large discount chain to recall a wide range of items at hundreds of stores, most of which are located in the south. More than 1,100 rodents were reportedly discovered, most of which were already dead.

“Health concerns about the rat infestation at an Arkansas distribution center have also led to the temporary closure of more than 400 stores in six states,” MSN wrote. “Family Dollar, which is owned by the retail giant Dollar Tree, announced a voluntary recall late Friday of some products that came from the West Memphis facility.”

Softball questions for Biden Regime players and an obvious strikeout.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken sputtered and stumbled after Chuck Todd asked him why Vladimir Putin didn’t dare try these tactics in Ukraine while Trump was in office.

It’s kind of hilarious. I kept the prior question in the clip and I’ll you why. It’s about cyber attacks, and the answer Blinken gives on how Biden tried to approach Putin over a cyberwarfare threat tells you the answer to the question of why Putin didn’t dare do this while Trump had the button.

What’s really funny is how Chuck Todd spoonfeeds him the question with a ton of bashing intro maybe hoping for a collusion answer and Blinken still blows it.

I'm not a big fan of Dave Chappelle. That being said, if you aren't a fan, you don't have to watch his upcoming specials. Good on him for not bowing to the "Wokesters of the Cancel Culture".

Dave Chappelle's work with Netflix is far from over despite the overwhelming amount of backlash he received following the release of his controversial "Closer" special late last year.

The embattled comedian will host and produce four upcoming comedy specials as a part of a collection titled "Chappelle's Home Team," the streamer announced.

The "Netflix is a Joke" Twitter account confirmed the project on its Twitter account on Friday along with a video of Chappelle discussing the gig.

Use corn to fatten cattle and pigs. Save small engines and Mother Earth.

For over a decade, the US has blended ethanol with gasoline in an attempt to reduce the overall carbon pollution produced by fossil fuel-powered cars and trucks. But a new study says that the practice may not be achieving its goals. In fact, burning ethanol made from corn—the major source in the US—may be worse for the climate than just burning gasoline alone.

Corn drove demand for land and fertilizer far higher than previous assessments had estimated. Together, the additional land and fertilizer drove up ethanol’s carbon footprint to the point where the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions—from seed to tank—were higher than that of gasoline. Some researchers predicted this might happen, but the new paper provides a comprehensive and retrospective look at the real-world results of the policy.

There isn't enough fat on animals these days.

We have lost The War on Drugs. And we have lost total control of the southern border.

The Border Crisis Reaches Your Child's Middle School

Think you live too far from the Mexican border to be hurt by the chaos there?

Bloomfield is a picturesque village in central Connecticut, 3,500 miles from the Mexican border. But illegal drugs flowing across that border nearly killed a 16-year-old student at Bloomfield High School two weeks ago. He tried marijuana, not knowing it was laced with fentanyl. Police rushed to the school nurse's office and administered two doses of Narcan just in time to save him.

If it weren't for bad luck he would have no luck at all. Genius Award Winner.

Feb. 19—Alexander John Thompson stole a car in Lakeville, then headed south toward Northfield, authorities say.

But his luck ran out in Greenvale Township, north of Northfield in rural Dakota County.

For reasons still not known, authorities say, Thompson pulled up to a home off 320th Street, opened a pole barn overhead door and parked the silver 2011 Volvo C30 inside. Unbeknownst to Thompson, the homeowners are two retired police officers. They quickly detained the 31-year-old.

Of course our judiciary system has been corrupted. But here is a small victory and Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

Odin and Lucy are home at last. After thirteen long months of being behind bars at the Anne Arundel County Animal Control without access to the outdoors—even to relieve themselves— the wrongfully convicted pair of beloved family pets have been granted their freedom.

The county has been under fire since the news of their wrongful conviction broke. The dogs were accused of killing a cat named Big Boy, but the only witness submitted two conflicting unsigned and unverified statements and didn’t show up for the trial. Despite that, the county convicted the dogs anyway. At the time, the dogs’ owners, Nola Lowman and William Dillon, did not have an attorney. But they hired two attorneys, Ed Middlebrooks and Stephanie Kimbrell, to appeal the ruling. Kimbrell and Middlebrooks worked tirelessly to free the dogs, fighting with a reticent county every step of the way.
