OregonMuse's Morning Rant included the AoSHQ Weekly Prayer list. The Saturday Morning Coffee Break will continue with that fine tradition starting today.

AoSHQ Weekly Prayer List

Prayer Requests:

12/25 Toad-O asks for prayers for his wife and her extended family. A recent CT scan revealed a large growth on his wife’s liver, about the size of an orange, along with several smaller lesions. There is also a growth on her spine. A biopsy has been scheduled on 1/3 to determine if either of these growths is malignant. He prays they are not. She just lost her older brother to cancer in October.

For Healing:

11/24 – Commissar of Plenty and Lysenko gender fluid requests prayers for healing and no surgery required (20% odds) for a medical problem he is experiencing.
12/25 Update – There has been some improvement, though slow. And he thanks the Horde for their thoughts and prayers!

12/8 – CC requests prayers for his friend, Dave (the best friend a man could ever have) and Dave’s wife Michelle. Pray for remission. Pray for strength. Pray for Michelle’s heart so she can bear this burden as his caretaker.
1/30 Update – CC let us know that his friend Dave passed into the next world. Please pray for peace for his family, especially for his wife.

12/29 – Jewells would appreciate prayers for her oldest daughter. She’s in pain almost constantly due to degenerative disc disease. Surgery is an option, but the doctor says not yet. They don’t know what he’s waiting for – she can hardly move and is miserable.

1/24 – Ladyl requests prayers for an optimal outcome for Dave’s shoulder replacement surgery. May God be merciful and restore full function to his left arm, mitigate pain, and hasten recovery.

2/10 – Hrothgar asks for prayers for his dear friend JesseinDC who had a major stroke, followed by surgery, and has been hospitalized with a pending MRI to assess the extent of the stroke damage (which almost certainly occurred). If we could pray for JesseinDC and his lovely wife ScreaminginDigital, and the skill of the surgouns and attending teams as he recovers.

If you see a prayer request posted in a thread comment, feel free to copy and paste it and e-mail it to Annie's Stew. She tries to keep up with the requests in the threads, but she's not here all of the time, so she may not see it unless you e-mail it to her. Please note: Prayer requests are generally removed after five weeks or so unless we receive an update.

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Feel free to opine and/or bloviate away. However we prefer you left the 'ettes pony tails alone and not run with sharp objects. Enjoy your weekend! But maybe not ice fishing in Hudson, OH. Hmmm, I've fished for years and don't ever recall seeing any "hookers" on the ice or at the boat landings.
