CNN Poll: 56% of the Public Say That Brandon Has Done "Nothing" That They Approve Of

biden-cnn-approval-bad-1024x545.jpg

58% disapprove of Brandon, even according to leftwing propaganda mill CNN.

Nearly 6 in 10 Americans disapprove of how Joe Biden is handling his presidency, with most of that group saying there's literally nothing Biden has done since taking office that they approve of.

...

The President's ratings have fallen across the board, the survey found. Just 41% approved of the way he's handling his job while 58% disapproved, a significant drop from his approval numbers in CNN polling last year. Just 36% of independents and 9% of Republicans approved.

When those who disapproved of Biden's overall performance were asked to name a single thing he'd done that they did approved of, 56% had nothing positive to say. "I'm hard pressed to think of a single thing he has done that benefits the country," wrote one survey respondent.

When pressed, this was what some people came up with as far as things about Brandon they approved of:

For Americans who disapproved of the President, those who could highlight a positive about Biden leaned toward economics -- 15% praised policies such as the stimulus bill or the child tax credit. Another 6% said they approved of aspects of his Covid response, including the provision of free Covid tests. Four percent noted aspects of his temperament or personal characteristics, although this sometimes amounted to faint praise: "He's not Donald [T]rump. That's pretty much it," one respondent wrote, while another noted approvingly that "I really like his new cat, Willow Biden."

By the way, those "free covid tests" are arriving now, as the omicron peak has passed and the crisis is almost over.

So yeah, thanks for that, Brandon. You're doing as good a job as I'd expect of a man with a low IQ who is now in the throes of advanced cognitive decline.

The public judges Brandon a failure.

Their words, not mine. I'd call him a hateful, evil rapist and corrupt traitor.

Overall, Americans said, 57% to 41%, that the first year of the Biden administration has been more of a failure than a success. For comparison, in January 2010, Americans were split about evenly on how to define Barack Obama's first year as president.

He's a failure on the two most critical issues, covid and the economy:

Over the past two months, the twin challenges of widespread inflation and a deluge of coronavirus cases due to the Omicron variant appear to have hit Biden's ratings hard: His approval rating for handling the economy has dipped 8 points to 37% since early December, while his ratings for handling coronavirus have dropped 9 points to 45%. And few Americans have deep confidence in Biden to either deal with the economy (18% said they had a lot of confidence in his ability to do so, down from 30% in March 2021) or lead the country out of the coronavirus pandemic (25% had a lot of confidence, down from 42% last spring).

Americans are finally rejecting the Karen Forever plan:

Americans overall are divided over the best approach for the country to take on the pandemic now: 51% said that "it's time to learn to live with the virus," while 48% said that "stopping the spread of the virus must continue to be the highest priority."

I'm not at all surprised by this:

There is also a sharp divide between parents and non-parents on this question: 64% of people with children under the age of 18 said it was time to learn to live with the virus, while 54% of those without young children said stopping the spread must continue to be the highest priority.

It does seem to me sometimes that those without young children go looking to Mother The World. They do not have children to mother, so they're going to inflict their values on the rest of us, against our wills.*

This is the Karen Psychology. That's why I always say the prototypical Karen is a Wine Aunt, not a Wine Mom. The fiercest, vilest Karens are childless, but pretty sure they are full of good parenting advice for all children and in fact all adults, too. **

CNN's finding that 38% approve of Brandon's handling of covid is a fresh low. Pew just found him at 40% approval.

The share of Americans who say Biden is doing an excellent or good job (40%) is down 7 points since August and is now only slightly higher than the share who said Donald Trump did an excellent or good job responding to the coronavirus outbreak over the course of his presidency (36%).

Trump's approval was 36% -- before any vaccines, before any effective therapeutics, and, of course, with all of the media and professional associations propagandizing against him.

And that, of course, created the circumstances in which his "loss" would seem credible. If a little "fortifying of the election" were added.

Meanwhile, the Republicans rise to 47% on the generic congressional ballot.

I sure wish I felt better about this party of grifters, cowards, sell-outs, and traitors winning this election.

* Don't blame me for this -- Candace Owens said this. Or something like it.

** No knock on the childless. I'm childless myself. But if you want children, have children. If you want to inflict yourself on unwilling people, make some with your own bodies. Do not avoid having children and then decide you're going to inflict yourself on people you have no genetic authority over.
