The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

There is one day that is ours. Thanksgiving Day is the one day that is purely American. O. Henry

Quote II

I give thanks to my Creator for this wonderful life where each of us has the opportunity to learn lessons we could not fully comprehend by any other means. Joseph B. Wirthlin

Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie. Jim Davis

I was off the grid on vacation Thursday through Tuesday. I want to publicly thank KT, CBD and Buck Throckmorton for filling in for me. It was greatly appreciated. Thank you. That being said, tonight's ONT is a rusty one.

I suspect this woman is quite happy. And will be extremely Thankful.

A GROUP of medical students fled in horror after a "dead woman" they were about to embalm suddenly opened her eyes, got up and walked out of the morgue, it is reported.

The anatomy students from the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Nigeria were about to do an embalming class on the woman, according to local reports.

There was great news this past Friday. Here is one Thankful young man.

The ONT Is Always Looking Out For YouTM

Prep your organs to eat as much food as possible on Thanksgiving
Get stuffed.

Every Thanksgiving, Americans gather to celebrate family, give thanks, and stuff our faces until we all feel sick. Tragically, filling up too fast on a good holiday meal means you won’t manage to grab seconds or thirds of all the best dishes on the table. You need to maximize your intake—here’s how to eat more food on Thanksgiving.

Note: This advice is not conducive to a healthy everyday diet. But then again, neither is Thanksgiving.

Prepare
Getting ready for the big meal is a matter of balance. To consume as much as possible, you’ll need to start on an empty stomach. But if you’re starving, you’ll eat too quickly instead of pacing yourself.

“Fasting is typically not a good idea,” says registered dietician Leslie Bonci. Instead, she recommends that you follow your regular meal schedule, but stop eating four to six hours before the main event.

Carjacking suspect leaves selfie behind in robbery on southeast side; ‘I looked and was like, ‘Oh, my God”

INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis are searching for an armed carjacker who they say attacked a woman outside of an assisted living center in broad daylight on the southeast side.

Fortunately, police say the woman was able to give them a clear clue to work with.

“I was just in shock, but I was really scared. Really, really scared,” said Megan Whisler.

She was sitting in her 2005 Ford Five Hundred Monday morning around 10 in the parking lot of an assisted living center while her mom was inside visiting with a relative.

The ONT has been known to take shots at the NFL. However, all of the players aren't douchebags. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

Six people have died as a result of Sunday’s attack at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. A familiar NFL star and Wisconsin native has now offered a gesture to help the families of those victims as they heal.

“J.J. Watt is covering the funeral costs for everyone that lost their life in the Waukesha Christmas Parade,” Wisconsin journalist Cory Jennerjohn wrote on Twitter. “That is an amazing gesture. He has such a huge heart.”
