The Morning Report - 10/22/21

Let me see if I remember how to do this. Okay . . .

Good morning, kids. Friday and first of all, a huge thank you to cobs-in-arms Buck Throckmorton, MisHum and CBD for covering me in my absence. It was much appreciated as it was impossible for me to do the report from where I was. First rate reportage, as always.

Now on to the insanity. And right off the bat we have a doozy. From out of left field - literally - comes the news that provably violent, subpar intellect and talent Alec Baldwin was screwing around on a movie set with a pistol with tragically predictable results. Predictable to almost everyone but him.

Preliminarily, it is tragic that 42-year-old Halyna Hutchins, a rising cinematographer in Hollywood, died yesterday on the set of Rust a movie being filmed in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My thoughts are with the loved ones she left behind. Having said that, I cannot escape a feeling that karma had a hand in this one because the finger on the trigger of the gun that killed Hutchins belonged to Alec Baldwin, a hysterical leftist who is fanatically opposed to the Second Amendment. . .

. . . Things might have turned out differently if Baldwin had bothered to learn about the guns he so hates. He might have known that you never point a gun, any gun, at someone or something you don't intend to kill. He might also have known that you never assume that a gun is unloaded or in "neutral" mode. Had he had some gun savvy, he would have checked the gun to make sure it was indeed a harmless prop. He would also have pointed it away from any living target. After all, the cameras would never pick up a faint deviation in aim.

Part of me pities Baldwin a great deal. He was seen weeping outside of the sheriff's office because, while he is an arrogant, entitled, aggressive, obnoxious git, he's not a killer. His entire self-image is of someone who defends life (never mind that he's fanatically pro-abortion). Now, though, he's taken a life, something that will haunt him forever. That deserves compassion because all of us go through life knowing that one stupid, thoughtless moment (perhaps a moment of inattention when driving) could see each of us take a life too.

I guess the estimable Andrea Widburg is a better person than me because frankly I have neither pity, sympathy nor compassion for the likes of Baldwin. He is allegedly an adult, at least on paper. He's also been around movie sets long enough to know that you do not under any circumstances even go within arms length of a weapon, let alone hold it, unless properly cleared and authorized by the prop master or firearms wrangler. That raises the question of where that individual(s) was when this happened, but considering the power and ego games of not wanting to risk one's job by pissing off a "star," that might have something to do with it. But I digress.

Nope. Zero fucks to give for Alec Baldwin. Considering where we are today as a society and a nation, he and his ilk have been baying for our blood for years, especially during the first term of President Trump. Baldwin has a lengthy history of violent behavior including scuffles with photographers, flight attendants, beating up a man over a parking spot as well as verbally abusing his own daughter on a now infamous cell phone conversation (who knows what he did in private).

On January 6, 2021, Baldwin -- enraged by Republican Senator Ted Cruz's decision to object to Arizona's electoral votes for Joe Biden -- tweeted: "Put Ted Cruz in the stocks and throw rotten fruit and buckets of horse piss at him. Then ride him on a rail. Then tar and feather him. And film it. For Netflix."

If you think this is all immature hyperbole, think again. This is tame in comparison to what 99.99% of the Democrat Party, the media and academia have openly declared about how to deal with Die amerikanische Frage - "The American Question." From re-education camps to Billy Ayers wet dream of liquidating 25 million of us (circa 1969) that refuse to be re-educated, all of this has openly, loudly and proudly been postulated and proposed. So, whither Baldwin? No doubt as a bona fide capo regime of the Left, he'll skate. Maybe he'll have to fork over some dough-rey-mi to the victims. Meh, the cynic in me (what else is there?) says this is a golden opportunity for some gun-grabbing propaganda.

But as I declared above, I hope his miserable soul is tortured every minute of every day for the rest of his accursed existence on this earth. He's probably borderline sociopath so there goes that wish shot to pieces. So while he goes unpunished, innocent Americans who did nothing more serious than misdemeanor trespassing are still being imprisoned in the Garland Archipelago as its namesake demonizes parents for daring to protest the mind rape and physical rape of their children in what can only be described as brainwashing centers posing as public schools - with the knowing and willing participation of the Junta itself.

And millions of us who refuse to get these experimental concoctions are being blood-libeled as bringers of death and pestilence. You think Alec Baldwin wasn't whacking off his cocaine-shriveled pecker to the images out of Australia and thinking it should only happen here?

Yeah, invoking an old Yiddish expression, Alec Baldwin should be turned into a chandelier - so he can swing by day and burn by night. Sounds better in the original Yiddish but the sentiment remains.
