The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“People around here have a deep respect for guns. They own them, they use them in practice in hunting and target shooting. They teach their children at a young age the same values and the importance of gun safety.” David Ellis, the owner of DnJ Precision Custom Firearms and Ammo

Quote II

I trust and believe the people. I mean, ‎I've lost some trust ‎in -- in the U.S. policies and I think ‎probably government policies, including ‎my own leadership and government ‎policies. And I'm reflecting and saying ‎how effective I was ‎or I wasn't, and I think it is a big ‎question that I don't have the right ‎type of answer."Afghanistan Ambassador to the United States Raz

Quote III

“We look forward to building on the success of MAGA Action with our new committee, Make America Great Again, Again! We are thrilled to continue to support America First candidates in the midterms and beyond.” Former FL AG Pam Bondi

Quote IV

"The world is very beautiful, but human beings are quite mad,David Hockney

Let's get our educational video out of the way..............

I'm wondering if she put out on this first date?

Some people will go to great lengths for fashion, but one woman's choice of shorts wound up sending her to the hospital, and she shared her story on TikTok.

Her name is Sam and in her video, the 25-year-old North Carolina native explained how she chose to wear tight jean shorts on a full-day date with a guy she recently met. She wrote on the clip that she had "a wedgie for 8 hours," but she didn't think much of it until the next day, when she woke up with a really sore butt.

Someday I won't have to look for ONT stories. Someday.

Of course Joe didn't know. He's sunsettin' fast. Lurch explains foreign policy to us.

Climate czar John Kerry told French reporters in an interview published Monday that President Joe Biden “had not been aware” that France would be angry about a recent nuclear submarine deal between the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom.

This bit of technology might help some overrated guitar players. I'm thinking of at least one Irish guitarist. And no it isn't the late great Rory Gallagher.

The Fart Pedal: guitar pedal makes everything sound flatulent

Steve Gadlin designed his new guitar pedal, The Fart Pedal, to recreate the sounds of farts. Like, actual farts. Plug your guitar (or other audio source!) in, dial in the balance between wet (heh) and dry sounds, and whatever you play will sound like a big ol' fart.

No offense Doof.

One of the reasons I enjoy David Thompson is that he regularly brings to our attention the mentally challenged. Tonight's display.

I remember when little old me led a crusade against a school board's wasteful spending. I'm glad it was then and not now.

Shakopee School Board Chair Reported Single Mother to Employer for Criticizing the School Board

Shakopee School Board Chair Kristi Peterson reported Tara, who is a single mother, to her employer for criticizing the actions of Shakopee’s school board members.

The mother criticized the way two Shakopee School Board members handled the testimony of the parent of a special needs child and her struggles with masking.

State Representative Erik Mortensen (R-Shakopee) shared Tara’s story on Facebook. Mortensen hid the mother’s full name for her privacy, but he shared the comment that got her into trouble. According to Mortensen, Tara is now on unpaid suspension and is anticipating that she will be fired.

Francis Collins, NIH Director, Resigns After Gain-of-Function Falsehood Exposed

Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), announced his resignation on Tuesday, just weeks after documents exposed that he made “untruthful” comments about U.S. federal funding of gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“It has been an incredible privilege to lead this great agency for more than a decade,” Collins said in a statement posted at the NIH website.

When thousands upon thousands are crossing the border illegally looking for work. Is it a good time to go on strike?

OMAHA, Neb. —
Around 500 union employees of the Kellogg's plant in Omaha walked out on strike early Tuesday, joining colleagues at three other Kellogg's facilities across the country in a dispute over wage disparities.

It's the first strike at the Omaha plant since 1972.

In last night's ONT we covered the story of St. George's statue being defaced. The Texas Parole Board wants to make his Sainthood official.

The parole board for Texas on Monday voted to recommend a posthumous pardon for George Floyd, the black man who died at the hands of police officers in Minneapolis last year.

The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles voted 7–0 to recommend a full pardon of a drug charge Floyd pleaded guilty to in 2004, according to minutes of a meeting obtained by The Epoch Times.

“We lament the loss of former Houstonian George Floyd and hope that his family finds comfort in Monday’s decision,” Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, a Democrat, said in a statement.

I guess he should have stayed in Houston. Live and learn.

Get off my lawn or I'll become a Genius Award Winner.

After demanding that an interloper get off his sprawling lawn, a 90-year-old Florida Man twice punched a neighbor in the face, according to cops who arrested the rowdy nonagenarian for battery and resisting arrest.

Police say Thomas Conrad was busted Saturday afternoon following a dispute over a gardener cutting grass outside his home in Sorrento, a city 30 miles from Orlando.

Conrad’s next-door neighbor, Jack Henson, 46, told police that his “lawn guy was being yelled at by [Conrad] for being on his property while cutting the grass.” Conrad recalled telling the gardener to “get off his property,” according to an arrest affidavit.

After asking Conrad “numerous times” to leave them alone, Henson recalled, an “agitated and aggressive” Conrad declared, “I should punch you.” Henson said he replied, “Go ahead, but I wouldn’t advise or police will get called.”
