Evening everyone! I won't be around much tonight, tonight is the first high school football game of the season. Friday night lights, Texas high school football, is there anything more pure and good, more quintessentially American? Unfortunately it is Texas, and tonight's game is in Austin. Ugh. Not only is it a shit city, it's over 4 hours away. I should have moved to Rhode Island. I can't NOT go, it's my son's team and I have to feed them all after. Oh well, maybe I'll get some good BBQ.

Little is 6'1 and weighs 200lbs, so that picture isn't very accurate. Still, the dad in me....

Friday night quiz: Choose your breakfast

Between the two, I'll take American. English certainly isn't bad, although it's hard for me to wrap my mind around building a breakfast meal around beans. Personally, I'd swap the flapjacks for the tomatoes and mushrooms and then you'd have a meal.
