The Morning Report - 8/27/21

Good morning, kids. Friday and if you thought things could not get any more soul-crushing than yesterday's bloodshed at the Kabul Airport, just look and listen to the words and posture of "President" George Armstrong Soft-Serve Custard. It would be bad enough if this were incompetence and stupidity but there is no escaping the reality that everything that is being done or not being done - from bugging out at the snap of a finger with no plan for an orderly withdrawal of our troops, civilians and our military hardware to actually trusting the terrorists to provide for our security and giving them lists of names of our Afghan friends as the shit hit the tornado - is intentional. Joe Biden has the brain function of a sea slug swimming in purple drank. The only time he has any cognitive function is when he's running down this country and its people, or when he senses that a blowtorch is being pointed at him. In any case, this cannot be incompetence or dementia since someone else is making these moves and allowing it to happen. You cannot be this stupid to be this stupid. But for the moment, it doesn't make much difference insofar as the 13 slaughtered Marines (a number which may yet climb), their families, and the thousands of others who are about to become hostages, or worse, to the savages, who are now equipped with Blackhawk helicopters among other things.

Barack Obama, pig-piss be upon him, said "don't underestimate Joe's ability to fuck things up." I don't doubt that in the least, except it is YOU who's calling the shots here, either alone or in concert with Valerie Jarrett, Billy Ayers, Ron Klain and maybe George Soros and who the hell knows who else. You are the one that fucked things up, champ. Obama and clan stole the election and seized power. But now, they're stripping Lady Liberty bare, shoving her into fishnets and US Army-issue Klinger fuck-me pumps, lathering her up with baby oil and hurling her over the wall of a prison yard, so that the Red Chinese and Iranians in D-block can have some fun for the next 200 years or so. And all they can think to do is to load up Biden's teleprompter with mono-syllabic lies to cast the blame on the generals and Trump?

Biden attempted to pin responsibility for the chaotic situation in Afghanistan to former President Donald Trump, and when Doocy pushed back -- pointing out that Trump was no longer the president -- Biden closed his eyes and lowered his head.

"You said the buck stops with you. Do you bear any responsibility for the way that things have unfolded in the last two weeks?" Doocy asked.

"I bear responsibility for fundamentally all that's happened of late," Biden began, but then pivoted to point the finger at Trump. "Here's the deal. You know, I wish you one day say these things, you know as well as I do, that the former president made the a deal with the Taliban to get all American forces out of Afghanistan by May 1. In return the commitment was made, and that was a year before. In return he was given a commitment that the Taliban would continue to attack others but would not attack any American forces. Remember that? I'm being serious. I'm asking you a question. No, no, no, wait a minute. Is that accurate?"

Biden kept talking over Doocy, who replied, "Donald Trump is not the president anymore."

The [so-called quote-unquote "president"] put his head down as Doocy continued.

Biden also blamed the generals for this 1,000-megaton clusterfuck, which I guess was a reaction to them telling the press as Afghanistan exploded and Biden was nowhere to be found for several days "we were only following orders!" But considering what kind of individual inhabits the JCS and Pentagon these days, they can all go piss up the rope that, if there was a G-d in Heaven, they'd be swinging from for high treason. They're indignation is all the more funny, as in sickening, considering this golden oldie from not quite one year ago (hat tip to Moron Robbie):

WASHINGTON -- More than 200 retired generals and admirals endorsed Joe Biden for president in a letter published Thursday, saying he had the character and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief instead of President Donald Trump, who has failed "to meet challenges large or small."

Some of the officers who signed the letter supporting Biden had retired only in the past few years, including Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, who served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump before he retired in August 2019; Vice Adm. Gardner Howe, a Navy SEAL leader who also retired last year; and retired Adm. Paul Zukunft, who oversaw the Coast Guard until 2018."

The retired officers and officials said the country needs a principled, honest leader who shows empathy for fellow citizens, values alliances, makes informed decisions and takes personal responsibility.

"While some of us may have different opinions on particular policy matters, we trust Joe Biden's positions are rooted in sound judgment, thorough understanding, and fundamental values,"they wrote.

"The current President has demonstrated he is not equal to the enormous responsibilities of his office; he cannot rise to meet challenges large or small. Thanks to his disdainful attitude and his failures, our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us," the letter says.
