Fox News' Chris Wallace: It Was Trump's Fault, Not the Media's, for Not Pursuing the Lab Leak Theory

The Chris Wallace's Leftwing Opinions Network.

Wallace also claims that Trump wasn't tough enough on China.

At the same time Wallace and his media gangster cronies were claiming that any linkage of China to the virus was anti-Asian xenophobia!

This illustrates something that arch-liberal journalism-chauvanists Chris Wallace and Jake Tapper do: They deny any criticism of their tribe.

Journalists will admit -- when absolutely forced to by proof of incontrovertible facts -- that they were wrong.

What they will never do is admit they were at fault.

If some egoistical incompetent plows into the back of your car at a stoplight, he will be forced to admit that his car did in fact rear-end yours.

But when he starts spluttering that your brake lights did not light up brightly enough, that's him denying he was actually at fault.

It was your fault, see. Your brake-lights weren't bright enough. Or it was your mechanic's fault.

It was anybody's fault but his own.

This is how "journalists" behave every single time they're proven to have zealously pushed false propaganda on the nation. Yes, they got it wrong. No, it wasn't their fault.

The journalists were brave and wise.

It was the facts that were stupid and cowardly.

And so now we watch the spectacle of zealous media partisan Chris Wallace blaming Trump for the media's absolute denial of the possibility of a lab leak.

He didn't investigate hard enough, you see. Even though the bureaucracy was part of the cover-up, and even though the media called him an anti-asian bigot (in the middle of a campaign season!) for talking about the intelligence he'd seen.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Lewandowski rightfully dismissed the notion that then-President Donald Trump did not pursue the 'lab leak' theory, despite Wallace's persistent questioning suggesting that the former president didn’t do enough.

"If he was so concerned about the Wuhan lab, why didn't Mr. Trump do more to investigate it?" Wallace asked. "Why didn't he do more to put pressure on the Chinese when he was president?"

Probably had something to do with the conspiracy of the bureaucracy and the media to suppress all information that might have been helpful to Trump.

And to call him an Anti-Chinese Nazi when he told us the truth.

Trump did assign State Department personnel to investigate the lab leak.

Joe Biden cancelled that investigation.

...

A context that Wallace appears to ignore as the media has done a complete reversal on the possibility of COVID-19 leaking from the Wuhan lab over the past few weeks.

...

Wallace persisted with his questions about why Trump did not pursue the lab leak theory. However, as Lewandowski pointed out, for over a year the media painted any suggestion of the possibility of a lab leak as "lunatic conspiracy theories on the fringe."

As late as March 2021, CNN continued to act as if the lab leak theory was ridiculous, likening it to "something out of a comic book."

Wallace had even more interesting theories:

Citing Trump's speech Saturday night at the North Carolina GOP convention, Wallace opened the segment by asking Lewandowski does his former boss "really believe that the Democratic Party is violent and many of them hate our country?"

Incredible. Incredible.

This on the supposed "Fair and Balanced" Fox. What a disgrace.

Video of the Lewandowsky "interview" at the link.

But there's more.

Wallace went on to vigorously defend Fauci, claiming not just that there is no "smoking gun" of wrongdoing by Fauci in the emails -- which is a permissible, if biased, interpretation -- but that furthermore, there was not even "any reason to believe" that Fauci was aware that the virus might have been manufactured.

That is a lie. An "reason to believe" is a piece of evidence. It is short of complete proof.

In two sentences he moves from claiming there is no "smoking gun evidence" to denying that there is any evidence whatsoever.

Just more of the strictly-factual, Dan-Rather-type hardnews reporting we've come to expect from this bloated, head-dipped-in-soy-sauce nepot.

And there were plenty of "reasons to believe" in the emails that Fauci knew that the virus might have been manufactured. Researchers at virology labs wrote to him to specifically tell him so.

He also says this is "highly political" -- entirely on the side of Trump and the Republicans.

Chris Wallace must be fired. Period.

By the way, he also confesses, implicitly, that he only read a few of the emails.

It seems most of his knowledge of the emails comes from left-wing defenses of Fauci, selectively citing the emails to excuse Fauci.

Oh, just to add to Wallace's terrific day of insanely biased propaganda: He claims the media had no role whatsoever in shutting down any discussion of election irregularities.

He went on to talk about "election integrity matters that we need to deal with," but when he made a comment knocking "the response from the media," Wallace pushed back.

"You keep blaming this on the media," Wallace said. "The fact of the matter is this went to more than 60 different court cases and you were beaten in every one. The Supreme Court refused to even hear the Trump challenges, so please don't blame this on the media. You had your day in court and you lost."

Not a single court ruled on the merits. They dismissed cases for claims like "mootness," lack of timely filing, etc.

Furthermore, the "60 cases" is a lie the media likes. Trump only filed a handful of cases. There were many more cases filed by third parties -- third parties with limited resources and, frankly, often questionable skill at litigation.

Kill your cable. Cancel Fox.
