The FBI has launched an investigation into a suspicious package containing a white powder and a threatening letter that was sent to Rand Paul just a day after Richard Marx praised the man who assaulted the senator from Kentucky in 2017.

The package which arrived at Paul's home also contained a doctored image of the Republican who is seen heavily bandaged and walking with the aid of a crutch as a rifle appears aimed at his head.

The Bowling Green Fire Department's WMD team's preliminary analysis identified the substance as non-toxic, the Warren County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post.

The unidentified substance and package will undergo further analysis, the sheriff's office added.

Paul says he takes these threats against him seriously:

"I take these threats immensely seriously," Paul said in a statement. "As a repeated target of violence, it is reprehensible that Twitter allows C-list celebrities to encourage violence against me and my family. Just this weekend Richard Marx called for violence against me and now we receive this powder filled letter."

Marx, a singer and songwriter who was popular in the 1980s and 1990s, tweeted Sunday, "I'll say it again: If I ever meet Rand Paul's neighbor I'm going to hug him and buy him as many drinks as he can consume."

Rand Paul is getting attacked by the Karen Left (and Karen Pseudoright) for refusing to get vaccinated.

He has a pretty good reason to not get vaccinated (as if a reason was necessary): He's already had covid. Most of the time, if you get a disease, you are immune from it in the future.

The Karen Left (and Karen Pseudoright) is pretty much admitting they're only Virtue Signaling by insisting that people who have natural immunity get a pointless, useless vaccination. "Maybe you can get covid twice," they say.

Well, maybe. In fact, you can get many diseases you're "immune to" again. It's just the second time you "have" the disease, your antibody production springs into action very fast and you have a very minor case of it.

This is what they always tell us with "breakthrough cases" of coronavirus after vaccination -- well, those will be minor cases, scarcely worth worrying about.

Okay but then: Why is the Karen Left (and Karen Pseudoright) demanding that Rand Paul get vaccinated? If he gets covid again, it will be just a minor case. The same as any vaccinated person may get covid, but will only have a minor case of it.

And the answer, of course, is that this isn't about The Science (TM), this is publicly about declaring your adherence to a specific cult by undergoing a tribal rite of passage.

I'm sure that you'll all be shocked to hear that C*nty NeverTrumper and Bill Kristol Rentboy Adam Kinzinger decided to, get this, virtue signal his allegiance to the left by attacking a man with natural immunity for not getting a useless vaccination.

One more point: The cowardly sneak attack Paul suffered at the hands of a criminal leftist was so severe that doctors had to cut out part of his lung tissue.

Now, having had his lung tissues so badly damaged, I'd say Paul has more justification than most (assuming justification is even needed) for refusing a pointless symbolic vaccination that is known to cause flu-like symptoms.
