Boudin was condemned in January after freeing an armed robber who is alleged to have caused a double hit-and-run shortly afterwards

City cops arrested 131 people on felony domestic violence in final 3 months of 2020, but Boudin's office dismissed 113 of them and charged just 13 of them

The unwillingness of the woman to press charges complicates this, but Chesa Boudin's history gives rise to the suspicion that he was against filing charges and might have let the complaining witness know that.

Kathy Black, the executive director of La Casa de las Madres, a shelter for domestic violence victims in the city, told the San Francisco Chronicle the failure to charge Williams after either of his previous arrests showed Boudin's complete lack of understanding of family violence.

'Domestic violence is a crime against the state of California, and the district attorney's job is to work with what the Police Department has gathered at the crime scene and develop the evidence to present a case,' Black told The Chronicle.

He could have sought a TRO forbidding the killer from coming within 100 yards of the woman, and then arrested him for violating the TRO.

Boudin was backed by billionaire left-wing donor George Soros in his 2019 election race -- one of several left-wing prosecutors Soros has funded in a bid to overturn criminal justice in the U.S., long before the George Floyd case.

In addition, Boudin is also the son of two members of the Weather Underground, regarded by the FBI as a domestic terrorist organization. As Breitbart News has noted, Boudin's parents "were getaway drivers in a 1981 armored car heist that led to the deaths of two police officers and a guard, the UK Guardian recalled." After taking office, Boudin began cutting prosecutors and dropping charges in serious cases, notably one in which a man allegedly attacked police officers with a vodka bottle.
