New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's relatives and other well-connected New Yorkers were among those given preferential treatment at state coronavirus testing centers. State troopers were on standby to rush their samples to a lab to be expedited. And those with priority status got results within hours or a day compared to a wait of up to a week that other New Yorkers faced at the time.

Seven individuals with firsthand knowledge of testing practices said that some people with access to power were able to largely bypass the overburdened resources available to the general public when the pandemic first gripped New York last year.

Cuomo denies this, and if you don't accept his word for it, he will grab you by the tits and try to force a sausage into your mouth.

But people familiar with the efforts said they were also told to treat individuals differently because of their connections to the governor. The individuals -- who spoke at length to The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retribution by Cuomo's office -- described the behind-the-scenes operations and their feelings of discomfort with a system that they believed at times prioritized political connections over medical need.

During the early frenetic weeks in March 2020, officials working at testing sites rapidly assembled a system that gave special treatment to people described by staff as "priorities," "specials," "inner circle” or "criticals," according to five people, including three nurses, who described how resources were redirected to serve those close to the governor and other cases that were fast-tracked.

Two individuals said clothing and footwear designer Kenneth Cole, the governor's brother-in-law, was among those who benefited from priority testing.

And a top state physician whose pandemic portfolio involved coordinating testing in nursing homes was dispatched multiple times to the Hamptons home of CNN host Chris Cuomo, the governor’s brother, in testing visits that sometimes stretched hours, according to two people with knowledge of the consultations.

CNN once again refused to address the problem of its "journalist" Chris Cuomo knowingly receiving these illegal benefits from a corrupt public official, but then hiding this information from the public he's supposedly informing:

In response to a request for comment on the visits to the home of Chris Cuomo, CNN spokesman Matt Dornic said, "As we have already said, we generally do not comment on employees’ medical care and we have nothing more to add."

Fredo returned to CNN last night, after taking some time off for Unknown Reasons. (Though one could guess.)

He did not address his corrupt appropriation of state resources, but instead turned to his favorite topic -- preaching atheistic government-worship to Christians.

From there, the self-righteous Cuomo secularly (and bizarrely) complained about how there was a "lack of faith in the facts" (not God), and how we needed to live by the Pledge of Allegiance:

Because, look, no matter what you choose it to be, we must all believe in something bigger than ourselves. For the religious, you know, like the ones I mentioned, it's God. But for all of us, religious, secular, whatever, there is still a call to something bigger. It is the Pledge of Allegiance to the collective, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all. That pledge needs to be reaffirmed right now.

We are in a bad spot. We are mired in a time of a plague-like pandemic, and we are mired largely because of us and a collective lack of faith in the facts and the lack of faith to that pledge of allegiance.

"Too many refuse to live the right way, with masks and with restraint, to hold back the variants. As a result, all of us are suffering," he preached. "We need to live right. Otherwise, the variants are going to make people sick, hospitalized sick, dead from being sick. How many before we can get people vaccinated?"

Newsbusters point out that this Pharisee is preaching to do what he did not: Even though he had covid and was told to remain isolated in his house for two weeks, he decided "Fuck your 'Science'" and went out on a little weekend jaunt to his still-under-construction second home.

Failing network CBS mentioned the Murder Guv's ninth accuser, at least. They spent an entire 23 seconds on the latest accuser.

By the way, NY and NJ again have the highest rates of covid infection in the country, despite the anti-liberty tyrannical mandate that everyone should wear a Holy Nose-Skirt.

New York and New Jersey now have the highest rates of COVID-19 infection in the country.

The Empire State has averaged 548 cases for every 100,000 residents over the past 14 days -- only surpassed by the Garden State with 647 cases.

Despite vaccination efforts, New York has not seen a dramatic reduction in infections. Daily cases have averaged about 50,000 people per week since mid-February.

And across the Hudson River in New Jersey, the number of new infections has climbed by 37 percent in a little more than a month, to about 23,600 every seven days.

Scientists attribute this counter-intuitive spike in covid cases in the states most tyrannical about mask mandates as likely due to the Science God being angry at his followers for not loving Him more.
