Microsoft, Government, and Big Business Begin Plotting American Version of the Chinese "Social Credit" Tyranny in the Form of "Vaccine Passports"

Once you have the infrastructure, and public acceptance, of carrying around a card that gives you privileges, or penalties, based on your immunization status, the architecture will be routinely expanded to give you privileges or sanctions based on any other kind of status, such as your status as a Correct-Thinking Individual.

The Biden administration and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials -- often referred to as "vaccine passports" -- that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen.

The effort has gained momentum amid President Joe Biden's pledge that the nation will start to regain normalcy this summer and with a growing number of companies -- from cruise lines to sports teams -- saying they will require proof of vaccination before opening their doors again.

"If it became a government mandate, it would go down a dark road very quickly," said Brian Castrucci, who leads the Bethesda, Md.-based de Beaumont Foundation, a public health group funding Luntz's research into why some Americans are balking at the vaccine. "It becomes a credential. It becomes a 'needing your papers,' if you will. That could be dangerous - and it could turn off people."

Notice that they are once again insisting that if the government merely encourages, "coordinates," and facilitates an anti-freedom measure, but leaves it up to unaccountable, politically-connected megacorporations to enforce and execute -- then this isn't technically government-enforced fascism.

Just government-facilitated fascism.

The neocons continue pushing this absurd distinction between government action and government-connected-megacorporation action.

It's worked out so well for us in the areas of free speech and banking, hasn't it?

How are all the people who can't manage a picture ID to vote going to be able to manage a vaccine passport?

Even Al Gore's former Fashion Advisor Naomi Wolffe understands that this is nascent fascism on a card.

This is the absolute end of the line for human liberty in the West and if you don't understand why, ask a techie. Once you agree to this platform any functionality can be loaded into it turning off and on access to society, goods, information, movement, based on your behavior.

2/ Wake up world, for love of God. As I've been screaming for a year, it's not about virus, or even vaccine; it’s the data. The vaccine is an excuse, a Trojan Horse, to get you to agree to a platform that is ALREADY 360 degree surveillance, geolocation, turns society off and on.

3/Once this platform is 'mandated' you can no longer opt in or out of out as you do when you sign 'I agree' to terms and conditions on a website. You'll be FORCED to 'agree' in order to work, socialize, travel. Then any functionality -- social credit system that turns PayPal off.

4/ and on based on your social media behavior, or restricts you to your home based on whether you saw 'dissidents', which it will know, or a forbidden play the night before, can be loaded onto it with NO PROBLEM, w/o any additional consent from you which you can't revoke anyway.

5/ Lastly and as the granddaughter of a woman who lost brothers and sisters to the Holocaust, I don't say this lightly: IBM is producing the NYS version. IBM's German subsidiary in Nazi Germany built the forerunner of a digitized system like this, using punch cards, that...

6/ first did exactly what 'Vaccine Passport' proposes -- it separated Nazi Germany into a two tier society, Jew and Aryan, using the technology of the day. Then IBM created the mechanized lists that allowed Jews to be rounded up swiftly, efficiently. Exactly same system, updated.

8/ But before that, Nazis created exactly what 'Vaccine Passports' explicitly promise: separation of society into two tiers: the 'clean' (privileged, with access) and 'unclean' (restricted, stigmatized, marginalized). There is no going back once this platform unrolls; no escape.

Every GOP Governor should be on the phone with state legislators *right now* to pass bans on "Vaccine Passports."

That won't happen, of course. The left pitched a version of fascism that appeals to the Establishment pseudoright -- a fascism of corporate control that wasn't technically enforced by the government. (Just organized, coordinated, facilitated, and approved by the government. But otherwise -- no government involvement whatsoever!)

And the Establishment pseudoright became their faithful partners in the project to turn America into an unfree shithole.

Remember: The left has repeatedly claimed that things it doesn't like -- such as "racism" or "gun violence" are "pandemics" and no different from any other widespread disease.

There is no reason, then, that this "vaccination passport" cannot be expanded to include your status as "immunized against racism" or "immunized against homophobia" or "immunized against transphobia" (maybe by proving you're comfortable with "The Feminine Penis (TM)" or "immunized against committing gun violence" (by not having any guns).
