The Washington Post Notices That CNN is Permitting a Conflict of Interest When They Let Fredo Cuomo Interview Sonny Cuomo -- A Year After Literally Everyone Else in the World Noticed

This is why we need "the elite," folks.

To finally observe very obvious things months or years after we all knew them.

There's a word for a student who fails to learn in the year he is presented with the material, but instead sort-of learns a year later: We call that student a "failure," and we'd softly say this student might be "a little slow." He would at the very least need remediation.

What should we say of our "elites," then? Why do they struggle so hard to grasp what is easily understandable by all of the people who are not (ahem) "elite"?

Here's the archive.is link for the Washington Post's non-breaking news.

On his Monday night CNN program, host Chris Cuomo provided an update on the biggest story of the past year. "Now, good news: When it comes to coronavirus, we've had the best week we've seen so far, in terms of getting people vaccinated. And every week since New Year’s, the rate has only improved," said the host.

Here's an update that he skipped: Just hours before "Cuomo Prime Time" aired, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo held a news conference to address his state's nursing-home scandal. Under his leadership, the state has shown a staggering lack of transparency regarding the extent of coronavirus-related deaths in New York nursing homes. "We should have provided more information faster," said Cuomo in the press briefing, which addressed an undercount of nursing-home deaths in the state.

That story -- the hottest on the covid beat on Monday -- didn't make the cut on
"Cuomo Prime Time." Perhaps that shouldn't be a surprise: Chris Cuomo and Andrew Cuomo are brothers, and journalists can't reliably cover their brothers.

Except that Chris Cuomo did cover his brother, famously, during the early months of the pandemic. As the coronavirus spread around the country, Andrew Cuomo turned in more than 10 appearances on "Cuomo Prime Time." The heartwarming moments stick out: In May, Chris Cuomo presented a gigantic test swab to joke about the governor’s televised coronavirus test. They laughed about their parents quite a bit, too. At the end of one appearance, Chris Cuomo thanked his brother for coming on the air. "Mom told me I had to," replied the governor. The TV host rolled his eyes.

Isn't it strange how very obvious things were not reported -- and even denied, or called Russian Disinformation -- before the election? But now it's safe to admit the obvious?

The Washington Post, of all people, is tut-tutting about this. As if the Washington Post itself didn't forbid reportage on this obvious conflict-of-interest. As if the Washington Post itself didn't bury the nursing scandal murder story.

The Washington Post is a partisan political advertising agency, little different from the Lincoln Project. It buried these stories because they are not a business primarily concerned with reporting stories, but with pushing propaganda points for the Democrat Party.

All of the media was giving Andrew Cuomo soft coverage, as if they were all part of the same family.

Which they are. They're all part of the same political family, the same Roman Patrician family, the same ruling class family.

THEY EVEN GAVE THIS KILLER AN EMMY, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

CNN explains -- if you can call this an "explanation" -- that they did have a directive forbidding Chris Cuomo from interviewing his brother, or even covering his brother's administration.

They just... "suspended" that directive.

This is an explanation? It's like saying "I did have a condom, I just suspended its use during the fornication in question, because I didn't want to wear it."

This is not an explanation or a defense -- it's just an admission of the charges against you.
