"Another Inauguration Miracle:" Gavin Newsom Becomes the Latest Blue-America Politician to Decide That Lockdowns Were For the Trump Presidency Only

At Twitchy:

Since last Wednesday, Several Democrat politicians have announced the lifting of some coronavirus restrictions:

Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser lifted the indoor dining ban in the nation’s Capital.

Illinois Gov. Pritzker has given the green light for restaurants and bars to reopen indoors.

Michigan Gov. Whitmer has said indoor dining can resume February 1st with capacity limits.

And now California Gov. Gavin Newsom is lifting some restrictions in that state:

JUST IN: Multiple sources tell me Governor Newsom will lift the stay at home order on all regions in California tomorrow.

All counties will go back to the tier system, sources say. Most will return to the purple tier-- allowing the reopening of outdoor dining, indoor salons.

But the covid panic was all real and based exclusively on The Science (TM), right?

No politics involved at all in shutting down the country for nine months during an election year and then suddenly reopening it days after the inauguration, huh?

But this might not all be about Trump. Newsome's sudden recalibration of his Science Tubes is also due to a recall effort against him rolling towards success.

They need to collect 1.5 million voter signatures to force a recall election.

They've collected 1.2 million.

Frustration over California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic is fueling an effort to make him the second governor in the state’s history to be recalled from office.

Proponents of the recall have raised more than $1.7 million and say they have gathered 1.2 million of the 1.5 million signatures they need by March 17 to get a recall on the ballot, which under state law would likely happen in the fall.

Mr. Newsom, a Democrat, has a 57% approval rating among likely voters in the most recent public poll by the Public Policy Institute of California, released in November. Mr. Newsom’s office referred questions to political adviser Dan Newman, who said the governor has taken bold steps to combat the Covid-19 pandemic.

But he's taken less "bold" steps since the inauguration, huh?

The leftwing propaganda media immediately began spinning for Newsome and trying to make the recall effort unpopular by claiming it was "linked" to QAnon, virus skeptics, and "far right movements."

Far-right movements including QAnon, virus skeptics linked to Newsom recall

Oh? A popular recall effort with 1.2 million signatures so far has some "links" with different groups of people?

You don't say.

You don't say.
