Jen Psaki on Why Biden Ignored His Own Rules About Mask-Wearing at the Lincoln Memorial: "We have bigger things to worry about."

Two big points:

1, Joe Biden just signed a new rule making it a requirement to wear masks when visiting federal lands and monuments. Which the Lincoln Memorial, of course, is.

So he didn't just violate general rules-- he violated the rule he had just signed into being.

2, I couldn't fit it in the headline, but Jen Psaki's full answer was, ""He was celebrating a historic day in our country... We have bigger things to worry about."

The Ruling Class always has good reasons why it alone is immune from its own rules. From "she's the public face of this city, she can ignore her own orders and go to a hairdresser" to "he had more important things to do than obey his own law, like celebrate his own ego."

Oh, he was celebrating something, eh? Oh well, if you're celebrating an important milestone or anniversary, the rules don't apply, right?

Oh wait, they do apply? You mean they only don't apply to this particular demented rapist and his political cronies?

Oh okay.

Bonus: To excuse his coming failures (and there will be many), Joe Biden lied at today's press conference statement and claimed that there was "no activity" in government regarding distribution of the virus. That Heroic Joe had to start from zero.

Fauci contradicted him and said that of course there is already activity.

This was a lie, but I don't imagine the leftwing media, or its allied Conservative, Inc., media, will point out how quickly this grinning sexual assailant has begun his serial lying again.

I also don't think we're going to hear "Trust the scientists, not the president!" about the dispute.
