FOX NEWS FALLS OUT OF FIRST PLACE IN BOTH PRIMETIME AND TOTAL DAY RATINGS
"We did it!" -- Kathryn Murdoch, choady slattern and wife of Trust Fund Cuck James Murdoch
Hey Lachlan -- either fire Bill Sammon, Chris Wallace, Neil Cavuto, and Chris Stirewalt, and boot Paul Ryan off the board, or we'll just keep up the embargo until they boot your leftwing ass out of your Daddy Gave Me job.
And then the new board will fire that leftwing trash.
It's time for them to join Shep Smith.
A tipster notes that Bret Baier is under two million viewers, Laura Ingraham is barely above 2 million, Hannity is now losing to Maddow, Martha McCallum is in third place, and Walking CPAP Advertisement Neil Cavuto is basically a test pattern at this point.
He's below Dana Perino!!!
Meanwhile, Trump is thinking about taking (further) vengeance on Fox, hoping to "wreck" it.
"He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it," said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump's intentions.
...
There's been lots of speculation about Trump starting a cable channel. But getting carried on cable systems would be expensive and time-consuming.
Instead, Trump is considering a digital media channel that would stream online, which would be cheaper and quicker to start.
Trump's digital offering would likely charge a monthly fee to MAGA fans. Many are Fox News viewers, and he'd aim to replace the network -- and the $5.99-a-month Fox Nation streaming service, which has an 85% conversion rate from free trials to paid subscribers -- as their top destination.
I'm not sure I believe that source. To be honest, when I read this kind of claim from a "source," I assume it's Steve Bannon, and I also assume it's Steve Bannon reporting the things he hopes will happen.
But Trump definitely did pop off on Twitter about Fox's fall to 2nd place, declaring "FoxNews is dead."
And does Trump even need to enter the marketplace to see Fox beaten? Newsmax, until recently a literal asterisk in the ratings (no, literally: They just started getting measured), has beat Fox for one hour of ratings a couple of weeks ago, and I imagine they'll be beating them more in the future.
Meanwhile, Fox News keeps pumping out press releases, and handing them off to friendly media sources, peacocking about its record ratings for the entire year, not talking too much about its ratings since election day.
Well done, assholes. Make sure you all give each other huge bonuses for losing one third of your audience, forever.*
* And counting!
