Frank Luntz: "The Political Polling Profession is Done"

"The political polling profession is done," leading Republican pollster Frank Luntz tells Axios. "It is devastating for my industry."

A source points out to me that the polling industry got results with its "oopsie," though:

So far, four or five House seats have already flipped to the GOP. But throughout the country, money dried up for House races throughout the country due to the polls.

If the polls had been closer to accurate, people would have donated to these races and we might have either flipped the House or left Nancy Pelosi with a bare majority.

Also: Trump had to economize in the last couple of months. Money dried up for the presidential race, too.

After all -- THE POLLS all said the race was unwinnable.

Was this really an oopsie or was this always the plan?

And Fox's pollsters have been infamously pro-Democrat for almost a decade now -- -was this always part of the plan too?

Even after their horrific performance in 2016, Fox News -- "The Fair and Balanced Alternative" -- continued pumping out demoralizing, completely wrong polls and insisting on their unquestionable accuracy.

Anyone who doubted Fox News' latest series of wildly-inaccurate polls was a Science Hating Yahoo and possible Alt-Right Nazi.

For three election cycles running, Fox News polls have been among the worst of the worst and the most skewed towards Democrat respondents.

For three election cycles running, Fox News polls have been propaganda to demoralize conservatives: "Even Fox News' polls say this race is hopeless..."

Well? Is there ever going to be any accountability for this, Fox?

If this is a real "mistake," there will be accountability -- a firing of your worthless pollster and the worthless in-house analysts who check them.

But if this is actually Part of the Plan... well then, the plan worked, and it will be business as usual and bonuses all around.

So which is it, Fox?

@StarChamberMaid It's time to get a legit conservative cable network. Fox having a few conservatives on the network isn't the same as an actual conservative network. After the Biden activism last night, it's untenable as a business model, that market is already saturated.

Note: Fox News also gives permission to the more overtly leftwing networks to be even more biased. When they see FoxNews being quicker on the draw to call every race for Biden than even they are, then that gives them "permission space" to go even further left.

Both Mollie Hemingway and Tucker Carlson blasted "the media" to the faces of Media Types Brett Baier and Martha McCallum -- and they made only the faintest, most perfunctory nods towards excusing Fox from the condemnation. See the video linked in this article for a taste of that.

Carlson railed about media pollsters getting it wrong, and stated that accountability demands their firing.

He made no exception for Fox News' leftwing pollsters and analysts.

I'm watching Newsmax now, exclusively. It's just as good, and it's not engaged in hardcore Democrat activism for 20 hours of every 24 hour day.

Everyone I know is enraged at Fox. Multiple people have vowed to never watch it again. One person I know says she'll watch Tucker and Mollie Hemingway's appearances -- but only on YouTube.

Otherwise, #FoxIsCancelled.

Go compete with every other media outlet in pushing a leftwing agenda, Fox. Way to work out the math, genuises.

Take your Chris Wallace and your Chris Stirewalt and your biweekly appearances of obese Jonah Goldberg and Brett Baier's butt-buddy Steve Hayes and your George Soros Protection Racket and get the fuck out of my life.

Gonna suck for the Murdoch Boys and their whore wives when Fox's ratings tank and the network stops making any money. This Quisling Quartet might actually be forced to work for the first time in their lives.
