Unexpectedly, In France, Three Killed by Islamic Knife Attacks

Assassins.

Three people have died in a knife attack at a church in Nice, in what French President Emmanuel Macron said was an "Islamist terrorist attack".

He said France would not surrender its core values after visiting the Notre-Dame basilica in the southern city. An extra 4,000 troops are being deployed to protect churches and schools.

In Nice, one elderly victim was "virtually beheaded", officials said. Another woman and a man also died.

A male suspect was shot and detained.

Anti-terror prosecutors have opened an investigation into the attack and France has raised its national security alert to its highest level.

French media are quoting sources close to the investigation as saying the attacker was a 21-year-old Tunisian migrant, however the authorities have not provided any details.

Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi spoke of "Islamo-fascism" and said the suspect had "repeated endlessly 'Allahu Akbar' (God is greatest)".

This comes as France and Germany lock down their economies again.

France restores a lockdown on Friday, ordering people to stay at home unless for essential work or medical reasons.

President Emmanuel Macron said the country risked being "overwhelmed by a second wave that no doubt will be harder than the first".

Daily Covid deaths in France are at the highest level since April. On Wednesday, 36,437 new cases and 244 deaths were confirmed.

We shut our borders to prevent the entry of persons from countries with uncontrolled outbreaks of deadly viruses.

Why is it "racist" to shut our borders to countries which have large populations infected with an ideological virus that causes them to randomly murder our countrymen?

There is no test to determine if someone is a carrier of a deadly ideological virus. The only way to guess at at a border-crossers' infection state is to ask him questions -- but this "test" is flawed in that the means of defeating it are so obvious. That is, you just lie and say, "No, I am not an Osama bin Ladin worshipping Death Cultists."

The left -- and the NeverTrump quisling pseudoright -- has claimed that it is unconstitutional to use someone's social media history to determine if his answers to such questions are truthful.

Even if that were not the case, there is no way that our State Department employees -- lazy bureaucrats who are also globalist leftists who do not believe in borders -- are going to conduct the necessary investigations into would-be travelers or immigrants to the US.

But whatever, their leftist Twitter Heroes told them it was "racist" to impose minimum common-sense barriers against the entry of terrorists into the country and any time a leftwing tells you something is racist you have to believe them. They're the experts, after all.
