Gallup: Survey of Party Affiliation Shows a... +1 Advantage for Republicans, Nationwide

And I gotta think that the Democrats have ridiculously huge partisan advantages in the big states of California, New York, Massachusetts, etc., meaning that the +1 national Republican affiliation advantage is probably like +3 in the states that matter.

A follow up to our previous tweet about Gallup's Party Affiliation findings:

Now it is R+1 (28R to 27D)

This time in 2016 it was D+5 (R27 to D32)

6-pt shift.

In 2012 it was D+4

In 2018, as we closed in to the November election, it was D+6, 35% D to 29% R.

I definitely know the partisan affiliation is not D+10 as the NBC/WSJ poll and Chris Wallace's Leftwing Opinions Network poll suggest it is.
