Doctors Announce That Trump Has No Coronavirus Symptoms, Somehow Contradicting Media's Endless Conspiracy Theories About Cover-Ups and Secret Deaths
Okay they didn't claim that Trump had secretly died and had been replaced by an I Buried Don double-- but that's coming, I'm sure.
Boy, this cover-up conspiracy sure is brazen!
President Trump's physician, Dr. Sean Conley, announced Tuesday afternoon the president "reports no symptoms" of the coronavirus after doctors discharged Trump from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center the previous evening -- meanwhile, White House Physician Jesse Schonau said that Vice President Pence continues to test negative for the coronavirus and "does not need to quarantine."
The positive health prognoses for the president and vice president come less than a month before Election Day and on the eve of the vice presidential debate scheduled for Wednesday night in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"This morning the President's team of physicians met with him in the Residence. He had a restful first night at home, and today he reports no symptoms," Conley wrote in a memo to White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who herself has tested positive for the coronavirus. "Vital signs and physical exam remain stable, with an ambulatory oxygen saturation level of 95-97%. Overall he continues to do extremely well, I will provide updates as we know more."
Note that this "journalist" for The Atlantic previously claimed that Trump was so sick he couldn't tweet -- and that any tweets that came from his account were expertly-crafted I Buried Don fakes.
This conspiracy theory was widely shared on Twitter -- without any censorship, throttling, or shadowbanning.
MSNBC's Joy Reid of course also tweeted out the conspiracy theory. (Or at least, the Russians Who Occasionally Hack Her Twitter Account and Post Embarrassing Things tweeted it out.)
"Here's how wrecked Trump's credibility is at this point: I've got a cellphone full of texts from people who aren't sure whether to believe Trump actually has covid. 'He lies so much,' one friend just texted. 'Is he just doing this to get out of the debates?' others are texting," Reid tweeted on Friday morning.
Again, no suspensions, shadowbanning, or censorship.
Leftwing conspiracy theories aren't conspiracy theories -- they're Greater Truths which just haven't been proven to be true yet.
Once the Trump Doesn't Have Covid conspiracy theory was widely spread, Fat Little Girl Brian Stelter then went Full Tater and declared that Trump had All The Covid:
The Fat Little Dumpy Girl then breathlessly updated:
@brianstelter
There's been a possible cover-up about the health of the president of the United States -- a cover-up *led by the president, from his hospital room* because he is so sensitive about being perceived as weak.
He's now out of the hospital, in stable condition, and reporting no symptoms.
Will Tater be retracting his conspiracy theory, or reverting to the first one?
First conspiracy theory: Trump really doesn't have covid, he's lying, this is a sympathy play
Second revised conspiracy theory: Trump is actually dying of covid, they're covering it up
Third revised conspiracy theory: See First Conspiracy Theory. It's a classic for a reason.
