The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

"These results are promising and encourage future research exploring caffeine and caffeine-related therapies to lessen the chance that people with this gene develop Parkinson's," Dr. Grace Crotty, of Massachusetts General Hospital

Quote II

“And it is frustrating to hear some folks say that you’ve been the beneficiary of privilege, that the color of your skin gives you a head start. That is the reality for far too many hard working decent Americans.” Michelle Obama

Quote III

Today, the Rebels are not Southern secessionists. They are home-grown neo-Marxists, anarchists, thugs and goon squads who are rioting and looting daily in scores of U.S. cities. James Rickards

Quote IV

“These kinds of situations have continued to escalate, and this should cause everyone to pause and think twice now about how we as a society want to conduct ourselves during this pandemic.” John J Flynn, the Erie County district attorney

I watched tonight's VP debate. VP Pence told us about a few of the people who he invited to the debate. No word if this invited guest showed up to support Sen. Kamala Harris.

The Trump campaign is reportedly leaving a vice presidential debate ticket for Tupac Shakur as a jab at Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who recently called the hip-hop icon, who was killed in 1996, the “best rapper alive.”

A Trump campaign adviser shared the news on a press call, according to multiple reports.

“I asked the Trump campaign who Vice President Mike Pence is bringing to tonight’s debate,” CBS News reporter Nicole Sganga tweeted Wednesday afternoon. “A spokesperson responded: ‘Tupac.’”

When the Dish Network raised our subscription price nearly 30% I pissed and moaned to the Fabulous Mrs. Mis Hum for that kind of money they should put more programming on and less shopping networks. I was wrong. Some of these shopping networks provide top notch scientific programming.

Shopping Channel Hosts Argue Whether Moon is Planet or Star

Haha check out the woman’s reaction in the background!

The moon is actually a ‘natural satellite‘, an astronomical body that orbits a planet. Our special moon is the fifth largest in our solar system which has 205 total natural satellites.

If you won the lottery, would you mail your winning ticket it? Or would you redeem it in person? Yeah, I thought so.

A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier from Hudson County, New Jersey, was arrested for discarding mail, including 99 general election ballots sent from the County Board of Elections that were intended to be delivered to West Orange residents, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Nicholas Beauchene, 26, of Kearny, is charged by complaint with one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail.

The delay of mail charge is punishable by a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The obstruction of mail charge is punishable by a maximum penalty of six months in prison and a $5,000 fine

There is a reason big bad animals are behind cages and you aren't. Genius Award Winner.

A harrowing lion attack was caught on video at a zoo and we’re posting it here as a reminder to all human beings that you should not try to mess with zoo animals. Especially animals that can accomplish a pretty solid mauling with just a flick of their wrist. Like, for example, a lion.

The animal attack video in question shows a man walk right up to the pretty much literal lion’s den and proceed to tease a male lion. The video picks up with this Darwinian idiocy in progress and the lion already looks pretty pissed off.
