Boeing Announces That Long-Rumored Move of All 787 Production From Everett, Washington State to South Carolina Is In Fact a "Go"
Bye bye, violent anarchist pit of despair Seattle! Bye bye, communist Washington!
Governor Jay Inslee is threatening to take back tax benefits that Boeing enjoys if it carries through with this move -- but that will just make Boeing remove its remaining presence from Washington and to South Carolina.
Keep it up, Communists!
Boeing will relocate all 787 Dreamliner production from Everett to South Carolina, the company confirmed Thursday.
The Wall Street Journal first reported the move that would deeply impact the Snohomish County economy and region as a whole.
...
Production of the smaller 787 models will continue in Everett until the program moves to the production rate of six planes a month in 2021.
According to Deal, the Puget Sound team will continue to work on building the 737, 747, 767, and 777 airplane families.
...
Gov. Jay Inslee said in a statement he was ready to work with Boeing to keep production in Washington, although Inslee said the state has asked the company "multiple times" what it needed to keep 787 production in Washington and so far has "heard nothing back."
"This move would signal an allegiance to short-term profits and Wall Street - not quality, safety and a vision for the future of the industry," Inslee said.
Inslee said the move would also force "a hard look at the company’s favorable tax treatment."
Maybe you can convince Antifa to expand its wealth-creating operations in Seattle, Jay.
Oh wait, the people you curry favor from are in the destruction business, not the creation business.
So I guess just stick it up your ass, Jay.
