Most of the Leftwing Media Tweets Out Gloating Death Wishes for Trump, Then Deletes It and Hides the Evidence »

The Morning Rant
This exchange between Fox News reporter John Roberts and WH Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is like something from some alternate clown universe:
Nothing she says, no evidence that McEnany presents, has any effect on Roberts. It's like he doesn't even hear her. No, he demands that she (and by extension, Donald Trump) must denounce exactly who he wants her to denounce with the exact words he wants to hear. Otherwise, it's not good enough. This is like the old USSR where you get hauled off to the Lubyanka and tortured until you sign a pre-written confession.
And Roberts doesn't give a rat's ass about anything Trump might say. This is not about the truth, this is about forcing trump to submit to the left-wing narrative that the rioting and looting of the past few months is by white supremacists, and also, that antifa is "just an idea", as Joe Biden insisted during Tuesday's debate.
It's like when BLM thugs with bullhorns surround bystanders in outdoor restaurants and force them to either kneel or raise their fists. Do what we say or suffer the consequences.
And it wouldn't stop there. If Trump jumped through the hoop they're demanding, tomorrow there would be another hoop. And then another. It's a media trap, and Trump is smart enough not to fall for it.
(I guess Chris forgot he asked Trump the same question in 2016.)

In case you're wondering who won the debate:
Adam Wren, Politico Magazine: "Trump is winning this debate."
Andrew Sullivan: "Trump is dominating. That's the brutal truth. It's painful. So far."
Monique Currie, WNBA: "Trump is winning this debate"
Ryan Harris, former NFL player: "Trump won that debate. Hate it or love it."
Tim Pool: "Even Biden laughs at Trump's jokes. This is hilarious. Trump knows how to entertain and that wins people over Its sales They won't remember what you said but they will remember how you made them feel"
Kimberley Strassel, The Wall Street Journal: "1) There are two ways to think of debates. a) Did you excite/enthuse base? On this, Trump wins. He was consistent, and made the points that he is running on in this election--law/order; economy; D corruption in terms of FBI investigation/Hunter; handling of virus. #Debates2020"
Spanish speaking viewers of Telemundo expressed their preference of who won tonight’s presidential debate: 66% Trump 34% Biden. #DebateTuesday
Advantage: Trump!
---------------------
I want to repeat that I think that there should be no confirmation hearings for Amy Coney Barrett. Miss Lindsey should just move her nomination out of committee for an immediate floor vote. First, there is nothing that she will say that will ever cause one Democratic senator to flip and vote for her. That's just not going to happen. Especially since a couple of Democrats have publicly stated they will refuse to meet with the nominee, as is customary. So why is it that the Democrats are allowed to ignore long-standing traditions while the Republicans must abide by them?
Second, and more importantly, the Democrats need to pay a price for turning the Kavanaugh hearings into a disgraceful spectacle. And thus far they have not. They've pretty much gotten away with it. So why give them an opportunity to repeat their disgraceful performance? Why give them an opportunity to preen and virtue-signal and grandstand for the television cameras? Screw 'em. Just vote and shut up.
Note: Roberts took a bunch of flak for this on Twitter and his meltdown was glorious to behold.

Oh, look: Chris Wallace disembarks on Pedo Island.
And here's a video montage of Donald Trump disavowing the KKK, David Duke, and white supremacy over and over and over...

Wednesday Who Dis: Before she was on ST:TOS, indeed, before she was an actress at all,
Grace Lee Whitney was a professional singer. She opened in nightclubs for Billie Holiday and Buddy Rich, and toured with the Spike Jones and Fred Waring Bands. Her connection with screen hunk
Jeffrey Hunter is, of course, that they were both in ST:TOS, albeit at different times. But there are a couple of other connections: Hunter was in a short-lived TV series,
Temple Houston and Ms. Whitney was in one of the episodes. Also a little-known western that came out about the same time,
The Man From Galveston. Hunter suffered some unfortunate injuries and died young. Ms. Whitney passed at age 85 in 2015.
