The Morning Report - 9/25/20

Good morning, kids. The weekend is here and there are a number of things potentially flaming skull-worthy (sounds like a 19th century pen name) all popping at once so lez-be-on our way.

First, with Ron Johnson now openly calling Goofy Joey Bivalve the wonder nominee a liar with regards to his son's criminal behavior, Rand Paul went even further:

"I think riding on Air Force Two and doing business is illegal. I think that is against the law, and probably a felony," Paul explained.

"I think it's illegal to take money from a Russian politician's wife, $3.5 million. Was it reported accurately? I think the only way to determine the actual legality of this is to have it referred to the Department of Justice," he added.

"So, I'm going to send the report over. I don't know if the whole committee will vote for it, but I'm sending the report, tomorrow, to the Department of Justice, and we're asking for a criminal referral."

And then, while we're all waiting for John Durham to drop some damned indictments on the coup conspirators - that is the real coup against Trump and America, not the phony one pimped by the Democrat-Media Complex - this came from out of left field late yesterday:

U.S. Attorney John Durham has taken over aspects of U.S. Attorney John Huber's notoriously unproductive investigation into the Clinton Foundation, Fox News reported on Thursday.

In November of 2017, Huber was tasked to evaluate "certain issues" involving the Obama-era Uranium One deal with Russia, and potential corruption related to the Clinton Foundation, but nothing ever came of it...

Huber's inquiries reportedly ended in January of 2020 with no results...

According to Fox News, parts of Huber's Clinton Foundation probe have been incorporated in Durham's investigation.

The New York Times on Thursday first reported that Durham has turned his attention toward the Clintons, seeking documents and interviews about how federal law enforcement officials handled an investigation into allegations of political corruption at the Clinton Foundation.

FBI agents in 2016 were denied permission to subpoena the Clinton Foundation because they supposedly didn't have sufficient evidence to do so. But frustrated agents argued that they had plenty of evidence, including evidence that was captured on a wiretap in an unrelated investigation, according to the NYT. At the time, former Mueller deputy Andrew Weissmann led the Fraud Section at the Department.

It is not clear whether Durham will be able to complete his investigation before the election, but Attorney General William Barr has not ruled out the possibility of additional criminal charges.

Plus there are new, insofar as confirmed and busting out which we all knew ages ago about how Mike Flynn was completely railroaded and that the Steele Dossier was a bought-and-paid-for Obama/Clinton smear document which was made with the cooperation of actual Russian intelligence agents.

The problem with this is that a) we have a media that will go all out to suppress all of the above because they are in fact co-conspirators in the plot to take out candidate and now President Trump and, b) there's just so much other news going on that will no doubt distract from these developments. That is if you can call Democrat-approved violent insurrection, Democrat-orchestrated election-rigging and Democrat freakout over possibly losing control of their stranglehold on American government - the Supreme Court - for at least a generation, diversions.

Let's try and unpack the madness. First, with Joe Biden essentially incommunicado in the homestretch of a presidential race, the most likely explanation is they need him to be at least semi-coherent during Tuesday's scheduled debate. Sundowning dementia victims turn into shrieking vegetables after sundown, so perhaps they are changing his body clock so he can at least give a normal-ish performance. And then they can cancel subsequent debates because of the phony pandemic or because Trump's a big orange meanie. It's not going to fly because along with the drugs and vitamin cocktail that would make Hitler's doctors wince, Biden is an exhausted husk who should be in a convalescent home. The pressure plus the potential breaking of the dam vis a vis the Senate report on his son could literally kill him. Not that his sick bitch of a wife or the Democrats really care. Joe Biden, like black Americans and other grievance groups is an expendable pawn to the powers that still run that party. Considering his 47-year career of malfeasance, criminality and the accrual of power at the expense of the American people, I'd call it an ironic twist worthy of O Henry.

Next, at the risk of irritating commenter Dave in Florida, there is very alarming news of outright election thievery in the swing states with mail-in and absentee ballots discovered in a ditch, including military ballots all of which were voting Trump/GOP. Also, Hoft over at Gateway Pundit is going nuts over North Carolina's election commission changing the laws to allow for ballot harvesting, i.e. election theft. Thankfully, Team Trump is on that right now and the lawsuits are flying.

Look, all things being equal, the way things are shaping up, this election - without shenanigans and fraud - should wipe the Democrats off the map. Plus, the Dems are now openly in a panic about their mail-in plan because they are now urging voters to ditch the ballots (no pun) and go vote in person. My gut tells me that even with the fraud, the Dems are not going to win, no matter how many days they tack on to count all the votes. But this in-your-face criminality that is equal to or worse than banana republic level is disturbing. They won't win, but they will fuck things up so royally that they will claim Trump stole the election and then they will try to steal the country by ginning up even more violence and chaos.

Speaking of violence and chaos, Burn-Loot-Murder and Antifa were on a spree yet again notably in Louisville and in Portland. It turns out that the U-Haul vans that were pre-positioned in the former city in advance of the Breonna Taylor grand jury findings were rented by someone connected to Nazi collaborator George Soros. Christopher Wray is a Deep State stooge; BLAMTIFA are organized terrorists who have openly vowed to overthrow the nation. They must be labeled as such and every instrument of the government used to crush the life out of them, while those who support, fund or run them are imprisoned and/or executed for insurrection. I am deadly serious when I say that.

In any case the President will announce his pick to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. Unfortunately it looks as if the GOP is going to allow the media circus/character assassination on whoever the nominee is to go forward for 3, and I thought I heard yesterday up to 4 days. Un-fucking-real. Hey, Lindsey; maybe if you announced there'd be no hearings your race wouldn't be so close in South Carolina, would it? Sheesh. Be that as it may...

The nominee on the president's shortlist who is the easiest to confirm to this particular vacancy is by definition the wrong nominee, and the GOP consultant class knows that. They are arguing for the president to trade in his one clear opportunity to transform the Supreme Court for a generation, in exchange for gratifying a group of Florida politicians who want to notch one in the usual Washington game of spoils division.

Barbara Lagoa is kind of an unknown quantity, and potentially could be another Anthony Kennedy or David Souter. Amy Coney Barrett is for sure not. I hope the President doesn't go wobbly on this. This pick potentially can help turn the tide that has been swamping us (pun intended) for the past 50-100 years. To squander that would be a titanic blunder. I hope the president understands that his legacy and everything he stands for can only come to fruition with an originalist. Fingers crossed.
