After 24 Hours of Contemptuous Silence, Neoliberal Media Organization Interrupts "Outnumbered" Show to Issue a Hastily-Scribbled Corporate PR Statement

As I said in the sidebar:

Harris Faulkner offered a canned statement about the censorship incident without mentioning George Soros or explaining WHY FoxNews now has a policy of censoring mention of him.

She avoided the controversy by pretending this was only about showing respect to the 'beloved" Newt Gingrich, and dishonestly spins a controversy about censorship and protecting a hard leftwing communist subversive billionaire as one about mere politeness to Newt Gingrich.

Melissa Francis, the one who actually demanded Newt shut up did not comment and was not even on screen when Harris Faulkner read the Corporate PR message.

Does she disagree? Does she continue to insist "we don't have to talk about George Soros"?

Was this about an overzealous "fact-checker" whispering in this dummy's ear? If so, why do they refuse to say so? Do they not want to admit they are constantly being told what to say by less telegenic progressive producers and fact-checkers?

This isn't about "being mean to Newt Gingrich," assholes. This is about the hard left turn daytime Fox has taken since the Li'l Murdochs came into power.

And since Paul Ryan was put on the board.

Fox News finally broke its silence to offer this pablum for the same reason Joe Biden finally addressed violent rioting -- because it was starting to hurt the bottom line. Fox News has gotten nothing but questions about this for twenty-four hours; they only scrambled to put out a statement mid-show because their preferred plan of contemptuously ignoring their audience wasn't working.

We weren't forgetting. We weren't just Moving On dot org.

And just like Joe Biden, they refused to mention the people at the actual center of the policy, pretending it's all about something else. Biden would only condemn violence -- not BLM or antifa.

And FoxNews corporate PR statement would only discuss the matters of politeness and decorum.

Good luck attracting that new leftwing audience you'd obviously prefer.

Ask the NFL and DC comics about how that goes.
