The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

"No Math!" is a meme on these august pages, but in the real world of NEA and AFT approved science and math curricula, it is a sad fact of life that many Americans are innumerate and incapable of any rational analysis of the wild claims of the Democrat Party and its amen choirs in every environmental group in the country.

It is nowhere more obvious in their ridiculous claims that green energy sources will replace more traditional (meaning robust and fully functioning) sources for the vast quantities of energy we require to run modern society.

Just take a look at what is going on in California, with their psychotic devotion to all things "green," and their even more insane hatred of all things Western and practical. Rolling blackouts, permanent conservation rules, outrageous energy prices, and that is just for starters. In a few years, when California shuts down even more fossil fuel plants and begins to rely more heavily on ephemeral solar and wind energy, today's restrictions will look positively delightful.

Here is a Prager University video that in a few minutes absolutely destroys the idea that solar panels, propellers and a few unicorns will power our wolrd.

It also suggests the important but overlooked point that manufacturing and disposing of these monuments to progressive hubris will cost our economy and our environment far more than even the claimed savings.
