#Woke ESPN Radio Host: Isn't It Funny That Jonathan Isaacs, Who Refused to Take a Knee, Suffered a Season-Ending Knee Injury?

The comfortable corporate left does nothing but snarl and sneer at their betters.

Last Friday, Jonathan Isaac of the Orlando Magic, who is an ordained Christian minister, became the first NBA player to refuse to kneel for the national anthem; he also would not wear the Black Lives Matter T-shirt his teammates were wearing.

On Sunday, as the Magic played the Sacramento Kings, Isaac suffered a season-ending ACL injury, which prompted ESPN radio host Dan Le Batard to post a poll question asking whether people thought the injury was "funny."

In case you're wondering, yes, "Le Batard" does in fact mean "the bastard."

Outkick the Coverage calls Le Batard's casualness and celebrating a gruesome injury an example of leftwing privilege:

Le Batard's show is the epitome of far-left sports coverage. A player standing is so bothersome that it justified laughing at a gruesome injury.

Could you imagine Le Batard running a similar poll if Colin Kaepernick went down with an injury? Of course not. He’d be met with a termination letter before he had time to check his Twitter account.

As is the case in any industry, employees know what they can get away with, and what they can’t. So, those in favor of the double standard, push it until they go too far.

Let's check in to see how the ESPN television network is doing -- they've seen a lot of losses in subscriber base for going on ten years now. Has that finally stabilized?

Spoiler Alert: Fuck nope.

This article from June 26th notes that ESPN had lost a lot of viewers, then cut back on all of its #Woke programming to pull itself out of the ditch.

But then they recently decided #Yolo, and went hardcore SJW again.

And they shed viewers again.

With no sports in sight, ESPN has decided to dedicate its 24-hour sports network to radical social justice, and their fanbase has fled faster than women fled the Titanic.

2 weeks ago, ESPN did its lowest viewership in the 41-year history of the network. Abandoning sports altogether, ESPN has spent the last month of their coverage on the death of George Floyd and race relations in America. These are fine topics for CNN and MSNBC but not for the worldwide leader in sports.

Then ESPN tripled down on woke with The Undefeated, a Sportcenter special that sought to teach it’s audiences about white privilege.

The special drew only 100,000 viewers, the lowest in 25 years for the network. ESPN once again proves to its audience that they are a sports network that doesn’t want to talk about sports.

The PGA was higher-viewed than all but one game played in the NBA, the NHL, and in MLB.

Get Woke, Go Broke.

A lot of businesses which deserve to die -- which seem to want to die -- are being kept alive by PPP loans.

We'll see what happens once these #Woke businesses payrolls are no longer being paid directly by the US taxpayers.
