The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

Edmund Burke was correct; "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." It may sound trite and simplistic, but it is true. Our founders were in the minority, overwhelmed by the apathetic and the active royalists, but they persevered simply by doing something.

But these two gentlemen decided that the governor of New Jersey, a stupid, venal, arrogant, corrupt fascist needed to be confronted. Murphy is a sleazy scumbag from Goldman Sachs who bought an ambassadorship from Obama, then the governorship of New Jersey with his fortune earned by many years as a scummy Goldman Sachs executive.

His sense of freedom and liberty and the limits of government are nonexistent; he thinks that the Bill of Rights is above his pay grade, and revels in shutting down any dissent, with force if necessary. He is the worst combination of progressive ignorance and leftist totalitarianism.
