The Morning Report - 7/17/20

hest2020.jpg

Good morning, kids. Friday and here comes the weekend. Today, the theme is "can you top this?" In yesterday's top story, bat-wielding BLM thugs savagely assaulted pro-police supporters as they peacefully walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to attend a rally at NYC City Hall. In an ironic twist, among the victims was none other than NYPD's top uniformed cop, Chief Terence Monahan who only a few weeks prior genuflected before the very group that left him and several others beaten and bloodied. But wait, you ain't seen nothing yet!

The Bronx man who allegedly punched NYPD Chief Terence Monahan and two other officers during protests on the Brooklyn Bridge Wednesday has been released without bail.

Quran Campbell, 25, is accused of socking the highest-ranking uniformed cop several times in the face as Monahan tried to arrest him after Campbell had allegedly punched another NYPD officer and lieutenant near the Manhattan approach to the bridge.

Campbell was arraigned on assault charges in Manhattan criminal court and was granted supervised release...

Recall Angel-of-Death Cuomo's and Bill DeBolshevik's bail reform was enacted only a scant few months before all this mayhem took place. If I believed in conspiracy theories, I'd say they enacted the law with malice aforethought, but that would be crazy talk. In any case, it's hard for me to feel pity for Monahan considering his complete lack of a spine when it counted most in standing up to the terrorists, both elected and otherwise. Considering that DeBolshevik and the Maoists that run NYC have let the criminals go wild since before Trump was elected, abusing and handcuffing the cops in the process, Monahan's beat-down and the subsequent release of the perp is not surprising in the least. And you'll see the link where DeBolshevik is positively beaming (sorry, Abe Beame) about the fact that he's emptied the jails claiming we're much safer now. Oh joy. Too bad that murders, gunplay, robberies and rapes have jumped astronomically but the media I'm sure will do its duty and embargo the story so that loping hunk of feces can continue painting "Black Lives Matter" on the sidewalk in front of Trump Tower to prove his manhood, or hooded something.

That said, despite the theatrics of the cops turning their backs on DeBolshevik a year or so ago in protest, they'd be a lot more sympathetic had they refused to obey his orders in persecuting the Orthodox Jewish community over the phony Peking Pox pandemic.

...Monahan admitted that officers are dealing with a particularly high level of "animosity" not just from protesters, but ordinary members of the public.

"On the street corners, there is a feeling that they don't have to listen to the police and that they're willing to fight the police officers," he said.

Monahan later added that the level of morale among officers is "as low as it's been in a long time..."

Funny, as in disgusting, though how Monahan remains dazed and confused about what's going on. And yet, the fact is, like it or not, the thin blue line - which is getting damned close to invisible almost by the day - is the only thing now between us and government sanctioned lawlessness. Which after a time will be followed by law and order, as in "New Order."

Not that I'm advocating this in the least but in places like Brazil and South Africa, police who have their hands tied by kleptocrat Socialists have a tendency to take things into their own hands. We're only a red nether hair's breadth away from Monahan and some of his chums visiting the perp and under cover of darkness, putting him in traction. Or worse. This is how the civil society dies.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden gained the endorsement of Angela Davis. Angela-freaking-Davis. Here I am, staring at the screen and feeling a bit like Terence Monahan must have felt like after getting a Louisville Slugger to the face.

What the actual fuck happened to my country?
