Poll: 55% of Americans Believe That Joe Biden Is In At Least the Early Stages of Dementia

That low, huh?

Is Joe Biden experiencing dementia? That's a question the pollsters at Zogby International posed to 1,007 "likely voters."

The results were surprising: 55% said they think the former vice president, 77, "is in the early stages of dementia."

"Overall, subgroups who normally approve of Trump's job as president, were the most likely to believe Biden could be suffering from dementia,' the poll found. "Thus, majorities of Republicans (77% more likely/23% less likely) and Independents (56% more likely/44% less likely) thought Joe Biden had early-onset dementia; while nearly a third of Democrats (32% more likely/68% less likely) thought this was the case."

A Trump campaign website called "Barely There Biden" is pushing the dementia angle.

* Biden forgot when he had a brain aneurysm, saying it was in 1986. Both of his brain aneurysms were in 1988.

* Biden admitted "I'll find myself searching for a second" to find words and "attributed that to being tired."

* Reviewing Biden's medical summary, a public health expert noted, "The only test that hasn't been done is the cognitive functioning test."

* "I just think Biden is declining," said one Democrat who did not realize he was speaking to a reporter. "You see it almost daily."

The website features videos of Biden's many instances of "sundowning," as well as clips of other Democrats openly doubting his mental acumen.
