The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition
Ah yes...The Heritage Foundation. Looking at the board of directors it should be a solid place, but this mewling quim has disgraced herself and conservatism with her desperate pleas to be considered a "good conservative" to preserve her invitations to the best cocktail parties.
“Racism in America is a fatal wound,” the author lamented. “Every time another incident occurs we put a Band-Aid on it, but the Band-Aid keeps falling off. Band-Aids are not enough to ever stitch this country back together.”
She went on: “Nothing can bring George Floyd back to life. But if his horrific and needless death proves to be a turning point to make Americans finally end the ugly racism that stains our nation’s history and afflicts us like a cancer of the soul, he will leave behind a legacy we sorely need.”
Did you throw up a little?
The Con of the Surrender Cons
It is a reflex, unfortunately, that's commonplace on the establishment Right, an infuriating capitulation to our country's most insidious foes. The Left intends to destroy the nation and use race as the carpet-bomb--and that approach is working even as blacks continue to make solid economic, occupational, and educational gains.
Read that again...Black America is being used as a tool with which to destroy America just when there was some good economic news. If it hasn't become blatantly obvious that the Democrat/Progressive cabal in America does not care a whit about any minority group except as a bludgeon with which to beat middle-class America, then I am at a loss. How much more evidence is required before American minorities realize that they are being played; kept in inner-city poverty, and servitude in service to the Democrat/Progressive machines that run those cities.
At least Tammany Hall gave some value for the votes they bought. What has Black America received for their loyalty? 50 years of violence and poverty and hopelessness, supported by an crypto-Marxist educational complex that has taught three generations that they are inferior and must rely on big government for everything.
Black and minority support for President Trump is slightly better than for his Republican predecessors, but is it enough? Or is it just a blip? What is sad is that Trump's economic reforms have provided an unprecedented opportunity for minorities to emerge from their metaphorical slavery (and the Democrats are the masters) and enter the middle class. Hopefully that message has not been subsumed in the vile race baiting that passes for journalism and news, but I'm not holding my breath.
