Sean Davis on Tucker Carlson

The NBC "Verification Squad" conspired with a leftwing activist group to then pressure Google to deplatform a direct competitor of NBC's.

The Republican Corporate-Funded Establishment calls this action by a monopoly to reduce competition in the marketplace by acting at the behest of a favored partner "just good old-fashioned market forces at work."

Just a quick note: CNN has of course long had a Deplatforming/Doxxing Unit. Oliver Darcy seems to be involved in nothing but deplatforming efforts. Buzzfeed Andrew and Brian Stelter almost immeditely amplify Darcy's deplatforming attempts.

NBC is now getting in on the cash cow.

Yes, the cash cow. Actual newsgathering is usually difficult and slow and expensive.

But what if you can just invent "the news" yourself? You're always guaranteed an exclusive, because you made it up. And it's easy to make up news.

And in the area of hyperpartisan clickbait that CNN and NBC specialize in -- it's lucrative as well.

CNN and NBC are inventing stories. They're teaming with leftwing professional (probably Soros-funded) censorship sqauds to pressure Google and other already-censorious leftwing monopolists into deplatforming conservatives.

This is not news. This is just participating in a low-cost political op.

Then, when the left-leaning tech monopoly agrees to censor the conservative target -- which they almost always agree too -- CNN and NBC now get the exclusive of reporting that Google (or FaceBook, or Twitter, or Patreon, etc.) have deplatformed someone hated by the leftist media and their leftist audience.

Cheap, easy, quick, and you can make a lot of money for doing nothing at all except some... light emailing.

All you need are some Tech Monopolies which can take a poltiical speaker or entire political organization out of the public space with the mere throwing of a switch. And what do you know -- it just so happens that there are such Tech Monopolies, and they're all looking for some justification to purge conservatives from the internet completely.

And the Corporate-Funded Republican Establishment keeps applauding -- because almost all of the people being deplatformed a rightwing/populist rivals to themselves, who are moderate/socially liberal corporatist/globalists.

So this is easy, cheap, fast, and money-making.

So soon every news organization -- includiig taxpayer-funded NPR -- will have their own dedicated Deplatforming Squad.

And the pseudoright corporatists will continue applauding.

National Review, Ben Shapiro, David French, Jonah Goldberg, the Chamber of Commerce, AEI, etc. just keep cheering the left's work in deplatforming the soft/liberal-leaning Republican Corporatists' chief ideological rivals from the public square.

Until all of their rightwing rivals are gone... and then the left starts on them.
