Joe Biden Craters In New Qunnippiac National Poll

This is a national poll. That's worth underlining because while Biden has been lagging in the early state polls, he has almost always maintained a lead, and usually a dominant, 8-10 point lead, in the national polls.

Biden could always count on black supporters to keep his numbers up. Just as Hillary Clinton could always count on black supporters to keep her numbers above Barack Obama's in 2008.

But then, one day -- poof, they stopped supporting Hillary.

Is that happening to Biden, now?

It's a very complicated and nuanced situation, so let me just shorthand it: Yes that's exactly what's happening now.

Here's the whole history of Qunnippiac polling for this race. Biden's been losing support little by little, but now he's fallen off a cliff.

Biden's back to doing that laugh thing he did with Paul Ryan in their debate. (Something the p***y Paul Ryan never did or said anything about, preferring to sit there and take the bullying mockery like a good little boy.)

NeverTrump is panicking-- they spent the last year pretending that Joe Biden, a man who was even more leftwing than Barack Obama, was a "moderate" and even a "conservative," and now he's about to lose.

The NeverTrumpers don't want to support Sanders -- supporting Sanders will shred any pretense that they are anything other than effete urban media-class liberals.

But they will support him if they have to. Gotta keep those Pierre Omidyar checks coming. Always have to have one moneymaking grift going.

But meanwhile, they're hitting the panic button trying to get actual Republicans to vote in the Democrat primary for "centrists."

You know, those "centrist" candidates the Washington Post just admitted are not "centrist" in the lest.

GOP-leaning independent voters in New Hampshire are receiving phone calls and texts from anti-Trump Republicans urging them to cross the aisle and vote in the Democratic primary on Tuesday, NHJournal has learned. The message is for these unaffiliated voters, who can vote in either party’s primary, to vote for a "responsible and electable" Democratic alternative to Donald Trump.

National #NeverTrump leader Bill Kristol, founder of the conservative Weekly Standard magazine, confirmed to NHJournal that he is part of the effort, which involves tens of thousands of New Hampshire voter contacts and a six-figure budget.

"Yup. '’m happy to have joined with some others to help remind New Hampshire independents, who might be accustomed to voting in the Republican primary, that this year, they may be able to make more of a difference by voting for a responsible and electable candidate in the Democratic primary," Kristol said.

The calls don't mention any candidates by name or endorse any specific Democrats, instead making a case for supporting centrists in the all-important First in the Nation primary, as opposed to self-described democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders. The latest RealClearPolitics poll average gives Sanders a six-point lead in the Granite State.

I honestly didn't think Biden would win the nomination.

I guess it's time we should turn our attention to candidates more likely to win the primary: Socialist Bernie Sanders and billionaire plutocrat and Li'l Tyrant Michael Bloomberg.
