James Carville Slams New York Times Democrat For Venomous (Unwarranted) Elitism
He's right, of course. But see the next tweet, too.
This guy adds a nuance: Carville isn't actually chastising Democrats for their unwarranted sense of smug superiority or their seething, virulent hatred of anyone outside their precious Tribe.
He's really just chastising them for expressing it openly, where the Rubes can see it.
When I suggested that perhaps the Ruling Class -- of both nominal party affiliations, but particularly the declared liberal members of the Ruling Class -- were out of touch with actual Americans' desires and were living in a bubble world of niche concerns and bizarre moral imperatives, he said pish-posh to me.
"Pish posh," he said, with a little sissy twitter in his voice like he was Jay Nordlinger in a cute new ascot. "Look at this real screenshot of a real question at a real CNN Town Hall.
"How can you say the Ruling Class is out of touch?"
