The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

It's those pesky facts again! The third world (or "The Developing World" if you like) produces the majority of the so-called global warming emissions, and also run much less efficiently, so by far the biggest bang for the whiny little SJWs who want to save Gaia from the depredations of rampant capitalism would be found in those countries.

But those countries also have robust systems to keep foreign criticism in check, and their populations sort of like the idea of entering the 21st century, with air conditioning and clean water and abundant power for those things that make life better. They are much more willing to look at Saint Greta of the scold and say, "LOLGF."

So the appropriate response to any of these shrill anti-progress lunatics is to laugh, and point at China and tell them to fix that country first, before they start on the smaller carbon footprint of the USA and Western Europe.

But there is a non-zero possibility of getting tossed out on their asses, or maybe even worse. China doesn't take kindly to internal criticism, especially from entitled foreigners blogging from their luxury hotel rooms.

Does anyone else dream of a time when the Gretas of the world get knocked on their asses by people who are truly offended that she has all of the benefits of carbon energy and wants to deny it to everyone else?
