White Interlopers: Local Residents and The Wall Street Journal Blame Jews for Their Own Slaughter, Wondering What They're Doing Invading a Black Neighborhood

Let's flash back to when race hustler, slanderer, and racial arsonist -- and now cherished member of the allegedly "mainstream" media -- Al Sharpton sparked a riot against a Jewish owner of a Harlem business by branding him an '"interloper" in a majority-black neighborhood.

The Rev. Al Sharpton apparently referred to the Jewish owner of Freddy's Fashion M art as a "white interloper" in a rally three months before the Harlem massacre, newly revealed tapes show. Speaking at a separate rally, Morris Powell, who later led the protest against the W. 125th St. store, specifically mentioned Freddy's, saying he would not let a "Jewish person" drive black businesses out of Harlem and vowed, "We are going to make that white cracker suffer.

" The tapes, recorded off radio station WWRL by the Jewish Action Alliance, were at odds with statements made by the men in the wake of Friday's massacre, in which seven innocent victims and the gunman-arsonist died. Sharpton, who also was video-taped meeting with protesters Dec. 2, has said he was a mediator in the dispute over a black church's plans to evict the black-owned Record Shack so Freddy's could expand. He also has said he was unaware of any racial or anti-Semitic statements made in the dispute, which he has characterized simply as an argument over a lease. Powell has denied claims by clothing store owner Fred Harari and a black Freddy's employe killed in the massacre that he and other protesters made anti-Semitic remarks and threats in front of the clothing store. Yet in a tape of a broadcast from a Sept. 9 rally, Sharpton said, "I want to make it clear to the radio and audience and to you here that we will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business on 125th St.

" Sharpton does not name Freddy's but mentions the lease dispute and calls his audience's attention to "brother Sikhulu," referring to the Record Shack owner, Sikhulu Shange. In a tape recorded at an Aug. 19 rally, Powell said, "We are not going to stand idly by and let a Jewish person come in black Harlem and methodically drive black people out of business up and down 125th St. If we stand for that, we will stand for anything.

" In a tape of a Sept. 23 broadcast rally, both men specifically call for a boycott and protest of Freddy's, according to the tapes. Sharpton and Powell did not respond to repeated attempts to reach them last night. The tapes emerged as Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau empaneled a grand jury to probe the massacre.

Thanks in large part to Al Sharpton's delicate "mediation," a black gunman (sound familiar?) was inspired to shoot up more "interlopers" at the Jewish store, killing seven before taking his own valueless, deplorable life.

On December 8, 1995, Roland J. Smith Jr., one of the protesters, entered Harari's store with a gun and flammable liquid, shot several customers and set the store on fire. The gunman fatally shot himself, and seven store employees died of smoke inhalation.[7][8] Fire Department officials discovered that the store's sprinkler had been shut down, in violation of the local fire code.[9]

Black hatred of Jews is not new. I remember in the nineties, when I'd ask a then-girlfriend (suuuuper liberal) what was going in in the New York Times, she'd say "blacks and Jews, blacks and Jews." She meant that the New York Times was writing an op-ed every other day trying to "reduce tensions" between blacks and Jews, while also remaining steadfastly ignorant of the point that the actual dangerous "tensions" were to be found almost entirely on one side of the euphemistically-termed "divide."

It wasn't Jews storming into black businesses shooting the place up, nor Jews inciting riots outside of black businesses.

But the media euphemized and euphemized, and, while it complained about antisemitism generally, it could not quite bring itself to chastise a community in which antisemitism was fairly rampant -- and it was rampant in the black community, largely because the community had never been publicly shamed by the media for its antisemitism.

It had just been made excuses for, pretended away, or straight-up justified.

Sound familiar?

And now black radicals target and slaughters Orthodox Jews in just-across-the-river Jersey City, and once again, black residents there are blaming Jews -- and their interloping -- for their own slaughter.

And what's the response from very important and influential Democrats?

Well, the Democrat governor of New Jersey has theories. He says the murders are due to "Right wing behavior" at 56:30 in this interview.

The Black Hebrew Israelites -- last seen racially taunting the kids from Covington -- are right wing actors, huh?

And what about the mayor of New York City, where the Freddie Fashion Mart slaughter took place? Surely Red Bill DiBlasio knows the history of his own city, and will forthrightly condemn antisemitic violence, even if it does emanate from a critical Democrat voting bloc.

And, I mean, after all -- Jews have been targeted and beaten on the streets for a year by mostly black (and some Hispanic) teenagers looking to deter some interlopers.

At NPR:

SIMON: First, these current attacks. Based on reporting, is there a particular source for attacks against Orthodox Jews?

WEISS: Well, it seems to be happening often from people who live in the neighborhood. We don't know that much about the perpetrators. What we do know is that people that live in Crown Heights don't tend to be white supremacists. And to judge from the footage of many of these attacks, at least some of the perpetrators seem to be young black men or teenagers. And perhaps that's one of the reasons that so many people want to avert their eyes from what's happening in places like Crown Heights.

SIMON: Are they street assaults and robberies or hate crimes? Where are the lines in something like this?

WEISS: Well, all we know is that the people that are being attacked are the most publicly, visibly Jewish people. And they're incredibly violent. Given that this has been happening in the city, there's been a sort of curious lack of interest on the part of New Yorkers, on the part of the mayor, on the part of the governor. Imagine if a spate of crimes had happened in a pattern like this against another minority - what the reaction would be.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that these black Jew-bashers were not White Supremacists -- I'm reliably informed by Jane Coasten of Vox (and NeverTrumper's twitter timelines) that black antisemitism is just White Nationalism for Black People.

So anyway, Bill DeBlasio has remained silent about a slow-motion pogrom in his own city for more than a year.

Surely now the slaughter of Orthodox Jews in Jersey City -- the same group targeted by street bandits in New York City -- will spur him to finally take action.

And so it did: Bill DeBlasio has announced the formation of an anti-white-nationalism task force.

Now, the department is aiming those resources at a different target: far-right and extremist hate groups.

Police officials say they have formed a new unit within the department’s intelligence division, known as “Racially and Ethnically Motivated Extremism,” or “R.E.M.E,” that will be primarily dedicated to investigating terror threats from far-right and neo-Nazi organizations, including groups like the Atomwaffen Division and The Proud Boys.

The Proud Boys have never been branded a hate group, except by leftwing antifa allies like the SPLC, and certainly have never been branded an antisemitic hate group.

And I'm pretty sure the black teenagers (and some Hispanic) street thugs attacking and kicking Jews on the street and in broad daylight do not belong to the -- what was it again, New York Times? -- "Atomwaffen Division."

I think "Crips," "Bloods," and "Latin Kings" would be more likely. I don't know a lot of blacks or Hispanics who are really into Germanic/Norse stuff.

But it's not just Democrat politicians attempting to portray the rising tide of black antisemitic hate crimes as a problem of "The Atomwaffen Division."

It's also Democrat spokesmen and PR officers, by which I mean the media.

The Wall Street Journal blamed Jews for the Holocaust before realizing that maybe this would not be well received, then they destroyed the evidence.

"Taken root." Like an invasive weed. Like... interlopers, going into Other People's Communities and giving them no choice but to #Resist.

It wasn't just the headline.

The article itself went on to blame the Jews.

See, these interlopers were "aggressively" trying to give something of value (money) for something else of value (property).

You're not allowed to interlope in black communities making routine offers to buy property.

What pushy Jews, "aggressively" offering legal business deals.

Sounds to me like Black Nationalists -- like Al Sharpton, like the Black Hebrew Israelites -- stirred up racial resentment and declared that anyone trying to buy property in a black neighborhood was an "interloper," and therefore, their offers of money for land were racial attacks.

Tell me -- would that logic fly if some Italian guys in Five Points took the same attitude about the Racial Sovereignty of their own turf?

Just curious, I remember the media getting very, very concerned about "Racial Redlining," trying to keep blacks out of white neighborhoods.

Tell me, if blacks actually murder Jews to in order to maintain a policy of, well, let's call it "Yellow Lining," is that something we should all just try to understand, or is that worthy of media condemnation?

Who knew there was so much nuance to race-based mass-murders?

Is beating and murdering Jews for being Jewish only a Problem of National Concern when it can be pinned on the Enemy-of-the-People's political enemies?

Where are the rabid calls from the media demanding that Democrat politicians call out -- with no equivocation or euphemism -- the hateful killers among their own base of support?

Or is that just for Republicans?

Flashback: Just back in September, Matt Gaetz grilled Sharpton in the House, demanding that Sharpton answer whether he had ever called Jews "white interlopers or diamond merchants."

Diamond merchants -- I forgot that one. Nice, Reverend Al. Old-school.
