Report: Katie Hill's Staffers Confirmed Report With Her (Male) Legislative Director, Leading to Pelosi Demanding Her Resignation

The fact that Nancy Pelosi sent someone 'round to ask about the allegations, and that the staffers confirmed them (I bet without too much arm twisting), confirms that this is a real story, right?

Not in the leftwing media's eyes. But we'll get to that.

Radio host Jim Messina says that sources informed him of the staffers' confirmation.

"My understanding is that a couple of those staffers; they had proof that she was having an affair with one of her staffers," Messina reported. "The Ethics Committee found out hard and fast that she did have that relationship."

Messina said he received the information from his sources in Washington, D.C., who have been proven correct in the past.

That legislative director said that the pair's "lives were ruined" following the story.

The legislative director whose alleged affair with Rep. Katie Hill sparked a House Ethics Committee probe against the lawmaker said his fellow staffers' "lives are ruined" following his boss's resignation.

"[E]veryone i've worked with every day for the last two years lives are ruined and they’re already talking about the next race," Graham Kelly wrote from his private Twitter account Sunday night.

"What a town," he added.

Meanwhile, Politico performs a "routine social media background check" on Red State's Jennifer Van Laar for daring to report news that they don't like.

Van Laar's views, like RedState’s leanings, are no secret: She's worked in Republican politics and the site is conservative, as is its owner, Salem Media Group. But Van Laar's shift from reporting on Hill, and publishing what some have deemed "revenge porn," to promoting Republicans for Hill's old job is a blurring of roles that would be unacceptable in mainstream newsrooms.

And on CNN, ignorant feminist slogan-shouter Jill Filopovic has called for congressional investigations into Red State.

Oh, how quickly we dispense with the defense that it's "chilling to the media" to investigate them.

Tell you what, I'll trade you (and I think Red State will go along with this): We'll trade you congressional investigations of Red State for congressional investigations of CNN.
