FoxNews Source: The Soon-To-Be-Released IG Report Will Show Why Durham's DOJ Investigation Has Turned Into Criminal Probe

Promises promises.

One source added that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz's upcoming report on alleged FBI surveillance abuses against the Trump campaign will shed light on why Durham's probe has become a criminal inquiry.

Via Ed Morrissey, here's James "TAKE THE KILL SHOT" Clapper finding out live that he was the target of a criminal investigation, and sputtering about "questioning the timing."

The "Timing" is very interesting indeed, though not the way Clapper implies.

The whole Russia Hoax Part Two was put into operation -- a bit rushed, a bit not-quite-ready for debut -- precisely because they knew that the Hammer of Justice was about to fall upon them. So they had to mount what I think would be called a "spoiling attack" in the military -- an attack not really designed to win, but just to stop the enemy from executing his own offensive.

We're in a very dangerous situation -- someone said that we have two factions of the government trying to win a political struggle by jailing the other.

But you know -- one side started this, and now we're trying to hold them to account for starting this Third World style of junta politics.

Julie Kelly writes about this, wondering whether Trump will kill the Deep State or the Deep State "Praetorians" will execute Trump.

The race is on to see who will survive--the duly-elected president of the United States or a modern-day Praetorian Guard comprised of former law enforcement and intelligence officials tasked with taking down that president.

As Barr gets closer to the key people involved in concocting the phony Trump-Russia collusion hoax--which included the use of powerful surveillance tools and government informants--House Democrats are escalating efforts in their attempt to impeach Trump before Barr's department starts issuing indictments. If Trump goes down before Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham, his point man on the investigation, can complete their work, that investigation could be completely discredited if not halted altogether as the by-product of an illegitimate presidency.

The clock is ticking, fast. Two dependable sources of Trump-Russia collusion propaganda--the New York Times and NBC News--nervously reported this week that Barr’s inquiry has expanded, although neither outlet has the foggiest idea why.

She notes a pair of reporters -- including "Fusion Ken" Dilanian -- now expressing shock and outrage that an investigation into election chicanery has begun.

It is appropriate to note that neither Goldman nor Dilanian shared any kind of similar skepticism in their three-year reporting binge on the Trump campaign's imaginary collusion with the Russians in 2016.

House Republicans stormed one outpost of the Praetorian Guard on Wednesday when they breached Schiff’s secret impeachment lair and refused to leave. That move, condemned by the news media and faux "conservative" websites such as the Washington Examiner, which compared the rebellious Republicans to Antifa terrorists, represented a true republican offensive against the Guard.

Only one side ultimately will prevail. And we should know the victors soon.

These are exciting times, interesting times... but as the old Chinese proverb says, "may you be cursed to live through interesting times."

The faction that did this is now complaining that they're being investigated for their prior illegal actions.

But whoever is to blame (spoiler alert: It's the left and the Deep State fronted by Obama's High Praetorian), we are at a very dangerous pass.

Peaceful transitions of power and free elections do not happen in countries where one faction gets it in its head to start weaponizing law enforcement and intelligence against their opponents.

That's where we are now -- and the left, aided and abetted by weak-sister social liberal fake "Republicans" who now have pretty much confirmed their identities as simply pro-corporate, pro-war Democrats -- began us down this path.

By the way, can I once again congratulate the so-called "Experts" and "Elites" who Totally Understand How Things Work and who are great Patriots who really Believe in America for now having broken America beyond repair?

Our super-elite totally-meritocratic Ruling Class has given us one last gift as they go: a possibly violent civil war and a class war we avoided for 300 years.

And no, I don't think we're voting our way out of this.
